Indoors:

Place the unit on a flat surface or shelf in an area where flying insects are most active. Insert the jack of the AC adaptor into the outlet located on the side of the unit and switch the unit on - the UV lamp should now light up.

Outdoors:

Charge unit for 10 hours before first use outdoors. Place the unit on any flat surface where insects are most active. Do not use mains power supply for outdoor use.
