Ready-to-use cage trap that is easy to bait and set, ideal for rats and grey squirrels. With a solid top and carrier handle for easy handling.

This trap should not be used in areas where red squirrels may be present, it is an offence to intentionally kill or injure a red squirrel.

Traps must be checked on a daily basis and any red squirrels trapped must be released immediately.
It is an offence to release a grey squirrel into the wild, therefore any grey squirrels caught must be destroyed humanely.

To use:

• Position the cage trap where evidence of rats or squirrels is present
• Always where gloves when handling traps - this prevents contact with potential contaminants
• To set, lift up door and support with moving side rod
• Balance treadle in position
• Place suitable bait towards rear of trap
• Captured animal can be safely transported by lifting cage with carrying handle
