This versatile tool makes it easy to rout grooves, edge profiles or even work on special mouldings - always with maximum precision for professional-quality results.
It’s powered by a 1200W motor with an electronic speed wheel and accelerator switch which lets you select the optimum working speed to suit your task, making it ideal for both light and demanding projects. It also features a dust-extraction port for keeping your work area clear, along with a transparent chip guard for extra safety from loose chips.
This Bosch router offers DIYers a number of technical features that make routing easier for them. The 1200 watt motor provides high power in all types of wood. The Bosch electronic speed control with setting wheel and accelerator switch enables the speed to be adjusted so that different materials can always be routed precisely – speeds of 11,000 to 28,000 rpm are possible.

So far so perfect
Been struggling with my old one for a while so had a new project and a new project means one new piece of kit. This works really well, guides are good and range of spigots perfect.

Good value effective router
I’ve used this a few times routing hinges. Although it’s a green Bosch, it is in the “pro” range and feels sturdy enough. Comes with three collars all around 6, 6.8mm and one bit, and a template guide.
Plunges quite smoothly, depth gauge looks flimsy but really works. Very simple to set up. I think the 1400 would be better if you wanted to do very fine work and it comes with a micro adjuster. That’s said is extremely good value and for DIY I can’t see the point of spending £300 on another brand when this does what it is supposed to do. Delivery was fast.

Broken on arrival
No idea how good or bad the router was going to be as it was broken on arrival, the depth stop adjuster screw had been broken off in transit. The screw was half sheared in the body of the router. To be fair the refund/returns policy was very good and I received my refund very quickly.
Sadly I can only give 3 stars
for quality as apart from the broken screw the item looked high quality and the replacement has been brilliant.

Broken part
Arrived with a small piece broken. Firm could not just send replacement part, even though photo and part number sent to them. Whole router had to be returned. Very disappointed.

Robert Dyas offers a FREE Click and Collect service to Robert Dyas stores.
If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.
Standard Delivery
We aim to deliver items that are currently in stock in 3 to 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays) after the date the order is placed.
Unfortunately at this time we cannot take orders for delivery to British Forces Post Offices (BFPO), Northern Ireland, Freight Forwarders, international addresses or The Channel Islands (GY, JE).

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
