Great barbecue
Delighted with this barbecue, it's exactly what I was after. Easy enough to put together, very well made/not flimsy at all, the features such as the grill design, the temperature gauge and the ash box/tray are all excellent. The surface area of the grill was also a pleasant surprise, bigger than I was actually expecting. Can't fault this product at all.

I have had this BBQ about a month now and have used it 3 times.What can I say it is very,very simple to use and the results are brilliant,i'd go so far as to say the best I've ever had ! Basically the grill grate is made of porcelain and each bar is shaped like an inverted V, what this does is stops the meat catching from below and burning due to "flare ups" charbroil call this "infer red" technology..I'm not sure about that ? but simply think it's an ingenious solution to an age old problem !
The BBQ is easy enough to build, took me about an three quarters of an hour, few fiddly bits but overall quite easy.
I use a Chimney starter and Charcoal Briquettes ( about 50 ) once the coals are grey I either lay them out evenly for "direct heat cooking" when using red meat or spread them in a circle and cook in the middle when doing Chicken (indirect heat) , I've so far left the damper shut whist bringing the grill grate up to temp, I find it takes about 5-10 minutes depending on Charcoal brand to do this, however once done the grill can hold temperature at 250c for about 90 minutes with the lid shut.
So far I've Cooked Steak and managed a proper seared Patten, the nicest, juiciest chicken I've ever had off of a BBQ , Juicy seared burgers, perfect chicken wings, TBH I'd be confident cooking any type of meat on this compared to BBQs I've had in the past !
I'd recommend looking at the Charbroil YouTube videos to show exactly what to do and just follow them, it really is that simple !
The Grill grate can be cleaned easily using a nylon brush (not wire as it's porcelain) and hot soapy water just remember to give the grill grate a quick wipe over with vegetable oil shortly before placing the charcoal on it's plate below, the ash pan just slides out below the main body very, very simple !
Only down side should really come with a cover as standard (annoys me that their separate)
Would I recommend this BBQ...? ABSOLUETLY !!!
