Product does not meet expectations
I recently purchased three of these units expecting to have been supplied with fully tested and functioning control systems. Regrettably, despite exchanging messages with EZVIZ help services to set up the products, and me, carrying out a 24 hour test with temporary connections, it was not be possible to ask my electrician to fit the units. Firstly, and most importantly, the auto PIR control function does not discriminate between day and night, which results in the floodlights operating when movement is detected all day and all night, when the function should be limited to a night light only. In an attempt to correct this, I was advised to slide the ‘mode light’ function to ‘off’ and slide the ‘light linkage’ function to ‘on’ but no change. I also slid the ‘light linkage’ function to ‘off’ but still no change. This did not prevent the floodlights operating day and night.I have also noticed the ‘alarm notification’ function simply switches the units ‘off’ and ‘on’ and therefore does more than changing the ‘alarm notification’. Also, the ‘alarm notification’ schedule does not change the pre-installed scheduling. Nor is it possible to rename the units to identify their intended location. Regrettably, I can only give this product a poor rating. Why would this PIR control cause the floodlights to operate day and night?
