Style over substance
I bought one of these benches a couple of years ago and decided to buy two more to go in my newly designed front garden. On the positive side they are a lovely shape and style and the dark grey colour is very stylish. However, they are considerably smaller than the previous one I bought and the lower back makes them not as comfortable to sit on. They are not as sturdy as the first one I bought and I don’t think they will last as long. Overall more style than substance.

Every piece was a different colour...the dowels on the arms were very rough but it looked OK after a coat of paint.

Pictures look good
I purchased this a few weeks ago, I did not realise it was flat pack and I had to assemble. Some parts did not align correctly. No pilot holes for under seat so thin joints. Split. Bought two the other one split on main hole due to not align with hole. Reported and received quick service with replacement parts. Glossy finish did not match original so would have looked odd. Agreed to send Blackwood refund

Disappointing
I bought this garden bench for my daughters birthday present. When it was delivered and she sent me photos I was taken aback. I asked her to get in touch with you as I don’t live in England. The bench she received looked as if it was second hand and nothing like photo online

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
