The best for descaling a toilet
Living in a hard water area, my toilet regularly scales up and no amount of descaling bathroom cleaner will shift it. The only answer is Spirits of Salts - sometimes hard to get so I was glad Robert Dyas had it on Click/Collect. Not suitable for metal sinks and taps so read instructions carefully.

Excellent cleaning agent
Bought it to clean the heat exchanger from my gas boiler and it did a great job. The leftovers were used to clean limescale deposits from toilet pans in the house. The loos now look brand new!

Absolutely cupboard must have.
I have been using this item now for three years, and it keeps my toilet like new.
Yes it has a rather strong smell, and you need to hold your breath for a few seconds, but that is better than a smelly stained toilet. Use this once a month and you won’t have any problems

Quick & Clean
I had stains on the bottom on my toilet bowl and nothing would get rid of them. 1 treatment with Spirits of Salt and they disappeared without even scrubbing!

Much needed drain cleaner
I am a great fan of this product but actually am very disappointed to find that the bottles are extremely difficult to open now. This is the first time I've had this problem. I am very aware that safety is paramount because of the nature of the contents but it is almost more dangerous when a bottle can't be opened easily enough. I may end up bringing one or more of the unopened bottles back to the store.

Use with care
I used this as recommended by the manufacturer of my Silex shower tray. It had become very marked with limescale.
It has worked to remove a lot of it but some maths do remain. I would recommend for efficacy BUT you must be protected...you absolutely MUST wear a good mask and eye covering, and good gloves. The fumes are extremely overwhelming and you cannot breathe when using this. I had to use it then quickly run out of the room to gasp fresh air! I was wearing a cloth mask but will upgrade next time.
