Mercia's Apex Greenhouses are fantastic products that feature fixed styrene glazing and opening windows to help lower the temperature within the garden building. This range is built using 12mm shiplap cladding and 44x27mm framing throughout for a stronger and solid build.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Finally, Merica touch-up any blemishes on-site after installation and supply you with the pot of paint for any future touch-ups.

Excellent product and dervice
Excellent Service, the greenhouse is well worth the money, altough some strengthening is required around the windows, but still worth the money. Turned up on time and received all information regarding delivery. Could not fault.

With more care this could be a good product
Not enough quality control before delivery.
Single nails used in roof frame construction Leading to twisting
Distorted plastic channelling due to poor packaging
Uncut trims and channelling Significantly increasing build time and knowledge required due to poor instructions
This could be a very good product if more care given to quality control and finishing.

Poor quality
The wood structures were naialgunned together these needed hammering down to make sure they were tight ...1 piece broke when we moved it. Supposed matching pieces did not match one was 1/2 the thickness of the others some were shaped whilst others were straight.lt looked ok when it was put together except there are gaps around the door

We have just completed this greenhouse after having to redesign and purchase extra wood, etc. to make it into a sturdy, useable building.

Could be better
The advert picture above looks great however in reality it is far from the one that I got and really tested my abilities because of the poor instructions supplied
This could be a very good product if more care given to quality control and finishing during the manufacturer of this product with better care and quality control - the one that I received had nails sticking through one panel and miss-aligned panels that had been nailed together.
Mercia customer services told me that the wood supplied with this product is generic, which meant that I had to cut the all to size, (you don’t expect a piece of flat pack furniture only to be told to cut to the wood to size).
..............Not Recommended.................

Not great
This looked like a great purchase however it has really tested my abilities. The installation manual was very unclear with less than clear and incomplete timber size information. Following this it was discovered that the timber and fixing pack was a missing some integral lengths of timber yet had far to many lengths of other pieces that would not fit where the missing pieces should go. I had to take a trip to my local builders merchant to get extra lengths of timber at my own expense. The general construction of the panels is also quite poor and the fit is less than ideal. The door was also to wide and need a lot of work to get it to fit. This was caused by poorly fitted tongue and groove boards and bowed and twisted timber on the frame. On the upside when built it is not a bad little green house and fits nicely into my garden. There is plenty of head room for me, (I'm 6' 4"). I would say overall this a fair to middling construction which for the cost is poor as I could have bought the same size aluminium framed greenhouse for less.

i brought this greenhouse a month ago and the quality is really poor, the wood was warped and my husband had to doctor the wood to make it fit

Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
