Mercia's Apex Greenhouses are fantastic products that feature fixed styrene glazing and opening windows to help lower the temperature within the garden building. This range is built using 12mm shiplap cladding and 44x27mm framing throughout for a stronger and solid build.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Finally, Merica touch-up any blemishes on-site after installation and supply you with the pot of paint for any future touch-ups.

Excellent product for the price
Excellent pre-sales, excellent delivery experience. The greenhouse took a while to put together, but it is an extremely solid structure when finished. The instruction book is comprehensive but one bit wasn't totally clear and we had to refit one piece. There are three small areas that could be improved but for the price it is excellent value. I can totally recommend.

Poor instructions and poor service from Robert Dya
Fairly pleased with the quality of the wooden frame. The instructions were impossible to follow and I am very capable but struggled. Unfortunately a piece was broken on delivery. This was over two weeks ago and Robert Dyas still haven’t responded to my email which is very disappointing.

Be prepared to go out and buy extras
Firstly, the instructions are poor, very poor.
None of the timber is marked with which trim is which, you literally have to measure.
None of the widths of the trims are marked and I find myself here in the garden trying to get the opener to fit and I’m wondering is the trims I have used on the roof are the correct width, because the hinge just isn’t going to work with the ones I have fitted.
Some timber split, some are so warped I will need to go to B&Q to purchase alternatives, 2 trims missing.
I would only buy if you want a basic shell for you to work with.

Don't waste your money!
This looks great online, we put it together in one afternoon. However, many screws that were missing had to be found elsewhere out of our own supply. There were several sections badly put together so we had to cut and alter to get them to fit. The windows easily bow in the frames so I have had to put small wood blocks in middle front of each frame to ensure this cannot happen again, was really disappointing and somewhat of a nightmare even though we are both D.I.Y savvy, I can see others having real difficulties

DO NOT PURCHASE
The product was delivered with a broken and damaged side panel. A new one was sent out. we also paid for the installation, no care was taken we have more gaps than wood, The quality is cheap, no aftercare, you will have to spend more money to fix this yourself afterwards, RD are aware of the problems with this product and continue to sell this. They offered a small refund that will not cover the cost to fix. Please stay clear of this greenhouse and installation - waste of money

Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
