The Mercia Traditional Summerhouse is a delightful wooden summerhouse which will create a focal point of any garden. This summerhouse includes three fixed windows, double front door and a beautiful veranda to the front. The double doors are perfect for those warm sunny summer days.
Please note: This summerhouse does NOT come painted.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Finally, Merica touch-up any blemishes on-site after installation and supply you with the pot of paint for any future touch-ups.

Traditional Summerhouse
Purchased online via Robert Days site - wasn't cheap, however the link to check the progress of the order didn't work. I did receive an email the week before delivery to confirm delivery, which arrived on time (8 weeks after order). Delivery driver called when 1/2 hour away and dropped off in a location requested - although reluctant.
The build is average, the walls and floor had warped in a week after some rain and sun. The build instructions were really poor and a bit vague in their detail. Some of the wood split when fixings with the screws supplied, and there were only just enough screws to complete the job. The door locks are a joke and I have had to buy additional bolts and padlock clasps to ensure it will be secure.
The building looks lovely but for the price paid it should be better quality, I would not have purchased if I knew the standard of quality before hand, I should have gone to a garden centre site and seen the product I was going to purchase

Terrible summerhouse.
I bought this for my twins' 10th Birthday.It is full of holes,most of the wood is cracked from corner to corner.The window was to big,the pieces for the windows half of the weren't even cut.Disgraceful considering the price.The wood is so thin.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:
- Electrical/Technical products which have been unsealed
- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
