Whether you’re looking for an addition to your window box, some vegetation for your flower bed or a bit of colour for your windowsill, Mr Fothergill’s range of seed will have something for you.
Broad Bean Aguadulce (Vicia faba) is a cold tolerant, early sowing long-pod variety with up to 8-9 tasty beans in each pod. A good source of vitamin C, folate and fibre they work well once lightly steamed or boiled.
You can harvest these plants from June to August. They thrive best in full sunlight and like well-cultivated fertile soil to grow to their full potential.
