Wooden Patio Chest
When this arrived it was covered all over with a plastic sheet making it impossible to check if everything was there. (few screws missing) - I hadn't realized it was a 'DIY' job.
The instructions said x2 people needed to put together plus, they were not easy to follow especially if one has little knowledge of woodwork. A' DVD'probably would have been more useful.
The lid was difficult to attach and, is very heavy to lift up even with the piece of wood to help (included) prompt same.
No, I am not as happy with this purchase as I expected to be.

Exceptionally poor quality chest and really bad delivery - no information on when being delivered, numerous items missing, which had to be redelivered, wood split. Only kept product because already built.

Missing and broken parts
This item arrived, with a broke side panel and missing the roofing felt. Quick service from Robert Dyas and fast replacement from the supplier. Unfortunately the new part was not nailed together properly and the slats were loose/not attached. In the end we fixed ourselves and made up the storage box, instructions were easy to follow but at the end we realised we were missing another piece to finish off the lid. Currently waiting for the part to arrive…..

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
