I was amazed by the value!I bought this bread knife following the purchase of a breadmaker and the need to be able to cut soft bread easily without distorting slices. At £10 it was the Telegraph newspaper's second best choice (number 1 cost £45) and I was happy to pay this, but I was delighted to find that it was just £5 on the Dyas site. It works great and looks great, so I am very happy.

Sabatier Trompette KnifeExcellent. Very well balanced in hand. It is my go to knife and is used for cutting lots of different things as well as bread, because it is comfortable to use and very sharp. I have cut cheese, carrots, potatoes and a toasted sandwich thus far. I am super happy with this knife.

Good valueThis knife works fine. It does not squash the bread, unlike the electric knife I wish I had not bought.

Great value knifeI was really happy with the other two knives in this range that I bought (chef's knife and paring knife) so bought this to complete the set. It's well made, has a good balance, works perfectly and is great value.
