Better than pull-switch cord.
I bought this to replace the pull switch cords in my bathroom, one which had snapped and the other that was too short. The picture cord appears to be made out of the same stuff and is a bit thicker, so less likely to snap than the cord that was on my shower isolation switch. Also, the one pack of picture cord is cheaper than buying two new pull cords and I still have about 7m left which should last me forever.
