The Mumley is a very pretty 7’ x 5’ summerhouse with the added advantage of being pressure treated for low maintenance, however, you can still paint or stain the building to create a real feature.
This is a very versatile summer house which makes an ideal hobby room or a quiet bolt hole to enjoy the outdoors. The practical, joinery quality, glazed double doors with large canopy make this a useful addition to any garden or patio.
It is constructed on sturdy 34mm square framing and clad with planed shiplap tongue and groove boards made only from the highest grade, slow grown northern European pine.
The floor is T&G and the roof is solid sheet OSB. Green mineral felt, assembly instructions and a fixing kit are all provided.

Delivery is kerb side. Shire's drivers are very helpful and will always try to leave the product as conveniently positioned as possible. However, it is entirely at the driver’s discretion whether or not it is suitable to drive onto your property.

Better quality than expected and excellent value
I was surprised to find a pressure treated shed with double doors let alone a summerhouse this size at this price and with free delivery offered on the Robert Dyas site I snapped one up, and I'm very pleased that I did.
It's top value for money and reasonable quality.
It is pressure treated and in honey colour, not the usual green-ish treatment you would expect, and paints over very well.
Instructions are clear, you do really need two people as some of the parts are quite a handful single handed. It was delivered direct from the makers and the delivery driver was very helpful and professional.
I don't think you'll find better quality for a similar pressure treated building at this price point. I could nitpick a few little bits, but at the end of the day I think I'd be hard pressed to get my local builders merchant to deliver the timber and two ready made doors for the same money. It is well worth the few pounds more than the the Shire Mumley summerhouse (non pressure-treated version) just for the anti rot warranty etc. You do not need to treat the timber before assembly to validate the warranty, as it's pressure treated you can simply just put it up. I did paint mine inside and out a couple of days before assembly.
Overall 5 Stars for value.

Warped and twisted.
After putting this together with a family member (qualified joiner) I was disappointed. The panels were bowed on doors and frame work. We have had to adapt this and make good certain areas. Poor quality , wouldn’t recommended.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
