Sturdy stakes and great value
I should confess that I didn't buy these to support any plants. Rather, I used them to display laminated A4 posters as part of a children's Easter trail in a small wood. I can tell you that they're strong, they push into the ground easily without bending and stand up to high winds. Plus they're excellent value!

Stronger Plastic-coated Garden Canes.
Already useful. The plastic coating of the stake allows for greater strength and enables careful use of a hammer to punch it to a greater depth in harder soil for extra stability, especially with the pointed bottom end. I'd have bought longer ones as well if the shop had sold them.
