Retro and functional
This is a great size for the kitchen , the retro design means it looks stylish ( for a bin!) and I like the hygienic aspect of the lid activated by motion sensor . This was in the sale as well , so pleased with the price . Overall a good buy so far , last cheaper bin I bought broke and this seems sturdy.

Lovely looking bin
This bin looks good and the remote lid operation is ok. Would like a couple more seconds before the lid closes. Lid is made of plastic and seems a bit flimsy, hopefully it won’t break.
Delivery was excellent and it arrived sooner than expected.

If I could give zero stars, I would
I suppose the good news first - the item was cheaper at RD than anywhere else I could find. Delivery was very quick, in fact it turned up earlier than advised.
Now the bad news!!
On unpacking the item, I found it was damaged. I know this is the courier faut not RD.
However, a month after I bought it, I still have a damaged bin and no refund.
It takes them a week more or less to repond to each email I send.
I waited for a courier collection that never happened.
The latest farce is they sent me a return label, but when I took it to the collection point, they would not accept it as the package is larger than the maximum size the return courier will accept.
I have reported this back to RD, lets see how long their customer services (that name is a laugh in this case!) take to respond this time.
I just want my money back, but who knws how long this will take.

Would not Recommend this product
I would not recommend this product due to the colour. The description is Cream but it is the most putrid colour I have ever come across and is more like a yellowy mustardy colour. Don't buy if you are looking for a Cream bin

1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
