Veg Bed 1m
A brilliant product if you want to make growing vegetable nice and easy. This "manger" style planter looks great in any kitchen garden or patio. It is designed so that deep root vegetables can be planted in the centre and more shallow ones at the side such as herbs and lettuces.

Great
I bought this as a gift and the recipient was very pleased with it. We assembled it before giving it and we were impressed with the wood and strength of the finished box but the assembly instructions could be better.
Overall pleased with it and was good value too.

Good quality but not the easiest to build
The finished trug is of a very good, sturdy quality. As noted in other reviews, it comes flat pack and is sometimes deceptively tricky to put together - it took two of us a couple of hours. Top tips: have a good power drill; place panel C before panel B (so it's more obvious which way up B should go); and drill pilot holes for screws where necessary as the wood is tough!

Sturdy and serviceable
This product arrives in pieces and needs 2 people to put it together. Once erected it looks good and should provide sufficient space for growing a few vegetables. It does need lining to prevent the soil from leaking out of the gaps. It needs about 3 large bags of compost to fill it completely.

Looks OK. Effective as raised bed for vegetables. But not easy to build for amateur DIYer. Not complicated but needed care and better instructions.

Very poor quality for £100
The wood is of very poor quality and clearly not been cut appropriately as one side was flush where the other wasn't. One set of legs flush on the ground the other side only the tips. There are better ones out there, so I wouldn't bother with this one.

Poor quality and looked as though it was second hand. Spotted with blue paint. Definitely not as advertised! Rusty nails and part of it broken. Haven’t had

Great idea, poor construction
I bought 2 of these raised vegetable troughs. The first was a bit fiddly but eventually went together with a bit of planing and adjustment. The second one had a misaligned pre-formed side that would not have fitted. A carpenter dismantled it for me and assembled it correctly.
Great idea & value, but not everyone has a master carpenter on hand in these current times. Very disappointed

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
