Perfect gift
I bought this for my son-in-law's birthday so I haven't used it myself. My daughter suggested I get this one to match her own, which I also bought, as she thinks it's a great little alarm clock. She had had hers for over 18 months and has no complaints.

Clock only stays on via USB, goes off on batteries, this is the second item as replacement received

Eats batteries
Bought as I wanted a battery operated clock. After a week the display went out. Tested the batteries and found they were flat. Checked the current draw and found it took 27mA with the display on. Online data for AAA cells give a rating of 1000mAh so this clock would only last for 37 hours on battery.

Rubbish
The display disappears after a few seconds even when connected via the USB cable. It doesn't tell the time, it completely withholds it. Utter waste of money

Rubbish clock
This clock is fiddly to set and the instructions are confusing. Moreover, after about a week it simply stopped working. A waste of money.
