An ironing board that suits me and my shirts!
About 30 years ago I came across an ironing board called a 'Shirtmaster'. It was half a metre wide which made it possible to iron the back of a shirt in one pass. In fact, it made ironing the whole shirt much easier. The disadvantage of that board was that it was just that, a wooden board, not good for steam ironing, and after all this time, I could not find a new cover for it.
I started to look for a replacement and came across this Addis shirtmaser board on the Robert Dyas website. It is made of perforated metal, ideal for use with steam, and it comes with an attractive cover. It is 430mm wide and I find it to be equally as good as my old board for ironing everything including shirts and trouser legs. The ironing board is good quality and I think, good value.

An extra big ironing board at a good price.
Good sized ironing board at a good price. Sturdy and easy to put up. Not too heavy.only one slight niggle is that the board bends and flexes a bit more in the middle than previous boards I’ve owned which is a little disconcerting if you press hard on a garment! Otherwise a good buy.

Great value ironing board
Not the usual shape ironing board, not sure why they always used go to a point at one end. This is great, big oblong space to iron on, very sturdy and plenty of room to iron even big things like sheets and duvet covers.
