Why has it changed?
I have been using this product ever since it has been launched. Prior to that I have been the third generation of loyal customer for the Ariel brand.
Please, please tell me why you have changed the consistancy of this product recently. It has gone from a very thick gel which keeps its form in the dispencing cap to a very runny liquid that finds its level as soon as you squeeze it into the cap. Why have you watered it down? Please don't fob me off with a story about how you've improved the structure of the gel. Please don't penny pinch!!!

Fantastic Cleaning
This washing gel is fantastic at low temperatures. It removes even curry off of white shirts if you rub a small amount on before putting the clothes in the washing machine.
Too all those people that say it is leaving blue goo I would say that you are over filling your washing machine. Therefore, your clothes will not wash well even with the best detergent.

Excellent
Great stuff - my usual powder left the washing grubby and smelly and my machine clogged up with residue and soap slime. I changed to Ariel Excel gel and it was a major improvement.

ariel never dissappoints
Me and my elderly mum both use ariel actilift fantastic product but anyone with limited hand strength cannot squeeze the container. I have to decant the gel into some other container, after shopping so she can use it.A simpler package would be better.Myself,my oldest son,(still at home) and now my 8 year old grandson are all white t shirt wearers so ariel is a must.thanks. c yellott

My mother finds AerialXL Jel biological very good and value for money.The problem she has is squeezing the bottle when it is coming nearly empty,so I fill another bottle for her with this jel.The problem with this jel is when you have squeezed and shaken it and no more jel will come out there is still a large amount left which amounts to 2 wah loads so I sawed the end of the container to scoop out the remainder which will not come out by squeezing.

Super Product
Ariel user all my married life 31 years therefore I naturally bought the new product although I thought it would not be as cost effective as the pouches or powder. I love it the smell, the cleaning power and the fact it seems to last as long as the other products in the Ariel range.There is still the same cleaning power I have come to expect from Ariel. I am rarely (if ever) impressed enough by a cleaning product to write a letter. I am a 51 yr old single (male), working parent. My 14 yr old sons white school shirts are a constant problem which I had all but given up on but having just reviewed the results of my first wash with this product I can honestly say I am impressed. I would generally regard the full price as unaffordable but have always believed that the best costs a little extra and in this case I will find a way. I wholly recommend Ariel Excel Gel to anyone who, like me has a teenager with an ability to make them look like an incompetent or uncaring parent.

Actually does what it says on the box!
I have recently returned to Ariel after a time in the wilderness of supermarket brands and WOW! the difference makes me wonder why I ever bothered with anything else. I have just washed my 3 year olds' dress which was covered in ketchup and spaghetti bolognaise and Ariel has got all the stains out. I was actually not going to bother and just chuck the dress as my old washing powder did not get any stains out. I am so glad I have switched back and I won't change again - many thanks Ariel

AWESOME
This is the best detergent that I have used in a very long time. The smell that it leaves on the clothing is long lasting and fresh, it has efficiantly removed the stains from our clothes (having a 4 & 6 year old that is saying something) I love this detergent and plan to use nothing but! I couldn't be happier with the results!

Fantastic
Love new Ariel Excel Gel had some dirty spots on a couple of tshirts and was surprised how easy and thick the gel is to pinpoint on particular areas and how good it removed the marks.

User friendly product - but
I am delighted to find an easy to use, liquid product for my new LG machine. I also often use the 30 degree wash for unsoiled clothes but have had a few things spoilt by blue streaks which stain the clothes. Please advise how this can be prevented. Would it be better to put the detergent in the drawer?

Dispenser
As a user of your product, I am rather disappionted in the stiffness of the plastic, whereby I struggle to squeeze the gel out of the dispenser when nearly empty. I find that I have gel remaining in the dispenser when I have to discard the bottle, which in my opinion is more than I would expect comparing it with a box of powder.
I do like your product but wish of a better way to use all of it.

Getting the last bit out of the bottle
I think ariel exel gel is superb, but frustratingly there's always a bit left in the bottom of the bottle. I take the green top off, and invert the bottle over the white cap and leave it until the bottle has drained. At times this can be a bit precarious and it has been known to fall over!
Why not simply redesign the bottle slightly so that when inverting the bottle the cap can be clicked onto the bottle? This way every last drop of excel gel can be used.

It really is Brrrr-illiant!
I'm a student and so I can't always afford the best things in life. One thing my mother always told me was "buy cheap, buy twice". I always use this motto for buying washing powder, because I can't afford new clothes so I need to take care of the ones I have! Ariel Bio Excel Gel isn't overtly expensive in any way, but it's proving best for me. It lasts 28 washes and is brilliant at cleaning, even in this (extremely) hard-water area which usually leaves white clothes grey. However this gel combats this, and the scent is lovely, I really enjoyed it and is not at all overpowering and sickly like other brands.

New products in twin tubs
I recently purchased a brand new twin tub washing machine after another disappointment with an automatic. I started off using powder fomulated (supposedly) for twin tubs but it was either clumping in some areas or too bubbly with certain fleece garments. I thought I would try Ariel Gel as I had previously used it in my automatic with great results. What a difference, no clumping or too much foam and I can honestly say I am delighted I took the decision to try it in my twin tub. Thank you for making a product that works in both types of machine. I am a lady of mature years and quite honestly prefer using a twin tub as it is quicker to do a number of loads (washing and spinning at the same) using cooler temperatures. I have always followed manuracturers intructions with all products. I just thought I would let you know how pleased I am with your product.

So glad I changed brands
So glad I changed to Ariel Excel Gel, a half measure in a full wash at 40c is adequate to thoroughly clean my 600 thread count sheets and table linens for my bed and breakfast, I have never had such glowing whites before, a more than happy converted customer, MANY THANKS ARIEL

LOVE THE FRAFRANCE
I have been using Ariel Gel for a while, and i thought finally, i had found the perfect liquid for my machine. It seems to clean as good as any other leading brands, but what also did it for me was the smell, it is very pleasant without being overpowering. I cannot stand heavily perfumed laundry. Unfortunately the one problem i have, is it makes far to much lather (in my machine) to the point my machine has flooded, it was fortunate that i happened to be home at the time. I have tried using hardly any liquid, but worry that my laundry will not be washed properly. I dont know if this is a problem anybody else has come across, or if it may be my machine. When i rate the product in "step 4" i will NOT take in to account this problem, as i cant say for sure if it is the Ariel Liquid that is causing to much lather.

wow! smell is fantastic
I have used other detergants , but have recently changed to Ariel, and wow!!
I am impressed, my clothes smell super even after being in the tumble dryer....even after a week hanging in the wardrobe.
I wash in 30c and my clothes are super clean, but its the smell that pleases me, i feel fresh everyday.

Best Purchase Ever!
The advert, is brilliant. One of the reasons I bought it is because the guy on the advert is cute. Great great excel gel! Worth the price, I recommend buying when 1/2 price sale and stocking up. Its amazing! Great for my sensitive skin. If you think otherwise, you should have a reality check

i prefer ariel due to having 4 in my family and cost is important to me, I do a load of washing every day and the smell of the liquid is also very important.That much so my family say they smell us before they see us.I would recomend ariel to other user as at first i thought like many a bottle of ariel liquid would be lucky if it lastest me a week, i was pleasantly surprised and i would recommend it to anyone, As for the price to me all washing products are priced the same.
