Decent Futon
Very impressed with the Futon. And my son says it is comfortable, as it was a gift. Although the button effect on the mattress was a little uncomfortable when leaning on the mattress. Instructions are very brief and mostly in picture form. Only a few bits in the nuts and bolts bag. So it didn't take too long to put together. Thankfully, all the slats were already attached. Only draw back, for someone new to a Futon is the slant on the wood, cut for the legs...which way round should the legs face? And which end do you put the pillow. Could have had a faster delivery time, but very pleased with the end result. Am left with a 'want' to buy another one in the future.

Superbly unrefined finish - not for everyone!
Firstly, compared to competitors similar products, this does represent good value. But! Whilst the mattress seems really pretty impressive, the timber frame is actually verging on hilarious. It's made of pine (I think) but none of the cuts have been sanded or finished with any kind of treatment. It's bare wood, smells of a woodwork shop, complete with massive splibtwrs on the ends of EVERY cut. Now, I'm really quite odd, and I actually really like it for its quirky patheticness. It looks like something I'd have made in woodwork 30 years ago in school. And I was not exactly proficient! However; it does the job beautifully. Very sturdy, good mattress. Just lacks a little finesse!

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
