EASYGrout is a high-quality slurry grout for use on porcelain.
EASYGrout mixes readily with water to give a highly flowable joint filling and grouting mortar ideal for use on porcelain floor surfaces where a high early strength, resilient, compact grout joint is needed, particularly in areas subject to early and sustained trafficking. It is available in three colours and is suitable for grouting joints internally and externally around porcelain tiling and paving slabs, filling joints from 5mm up to 25mm wide with a minimum joint depth of 20mm.
Available in 15kg tubs packed in 3 x 5kg bags for more economic mixing - less waste.
The coverage of EASYGrout depends primarily upon the tile / slab dimensions and the joint width and depth.

Brief usage instructions
EASYGrout mixes readily with water to give a highly flowable joint filling and grouting mortar ideal for use on floor surfaces where a high early strength, resilient, compact grout joint is needed, particularly in areas subject to early and sustained trafficking. It is available in three colours and is suitable for grouting joints internally and externally around ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and clay paving slabs, filling joints from 5mm up to 25mm wide with a minimum joint depth of 20mm. EASYGrout has a workable open time of up to 1 hour and can be walked on within 3 hours curing rapidly to give a high early strength shrinkage compensated durable mortar.
Before you start to use the product
Always ensure the tiled and paved area is stable and secure before proceeding with grouting of the joints. Ensure all joints are raked clear of any excess loose residues and accumulations of water to allow an even and consistent depth of grout to be applied in all areas. Note: Certain types of tile and stone slab may be unduly porous and hence prone to surface discolouration, especially when applying coloured grouts. Natural stone and porous, un-glazed tiles are particularly at risk from permanent discolouration. To avoid this always carry out a small trial test, applying freshly mixed grout to a spare tile to determine whether staining is likely and consult the tile manufacturer as to whether they recommend a suitable sealing compound to protect the surface. Immediately prior to proceeding with the application, dampen the whole area to ensure the tiled surface is wet (not soaked) prior to grouting the joints.
Always add powder to clean, cold water and using a powered paddle mix a minimum of 900ml of clean water (more can be added slowly to achieve optimum consistency) per 5kg sachet of EASYGrout powder whilst slowly mixing for 3 to 5 minutes to give a smooth lump-free readily flowable cohesive mortar. Do not over-mix or create excessive air bubbles.
Using the product
The tiled surface should be dampened prior to grout application, avoiding any pooled areas before the mixed grout is poured over and spread into the open tile joints using a suitable rubber squeegee tool which allows the mortar to be readily spread and compacted into the open joints, moving any excess out across the surface to the next area of open joint, whilst using the squeegee to ensure the least possible mortar residue remains on the exposed tile face. Check back over all treated joints and spread back the mortar to top up sections where the mortar has slumped deeper into the joint, ensuring all are topped up to the level required.
When EASYGrout has hardened sufficiently to reach initial set (after 1 to 2 hours depending on site conditions) the tiled surface must be cleaned using a wet brush or sponge taking care to remove any excessively wet areas from accumulating in the freshly applied joints. Once the mortar has reached a firm and final set, a clean and consistent finish can be achieved by using a dry cloth to evenly dry and polish the entire grouted area once the joints have begun to harden up. Cleaning must be carried out thoroughly and no mortar resides should be allowed to remain on the tiled / paved surface. Grout film residue can be cleaned using EASYGrout Residue Cleaner.
How to store unused product
Keep the product sealed until use in dry, well ventilated conditions at ambient temperatures and away from all sources of damp. When kept in its’ original sealed state in a permanently dry environment, this product will retain a shelf life of up to 12 months from date of manufacture. Do not store under water.
We have no direct control over the application or use of our product, or of the area to which it is being used therefore we cannot accept any liability or responsibility for the outcome of a project which does not meet the specifiers requirements. Mix only sufficient material that can be applied and used within the stated working open time. Do not add more water than is necessary as this may prolong drying, modify colour shade and significantly reduce compressive strength. Avoid using partially cured grout. This should never be “freshened up” with later water additions but should always be discarded once it appears to lose workability. Do not apply when air or ground temperatures are forecast to be below 5ºC or greater than 35ºC at any time during the first 24 hours after application.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing dust. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing eye protection/face protection. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. IF IN EYES, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses, continue rinsing and immediately call for medical assistance. IF ON SKIN, wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If skin irritation or rash occurs seek medical attention. If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If you feel unwell, call for medical assistance. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations. This product should be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground. If stored correctly and used within 12 months of the date shown on this bag, the chromate reducing agent in this product will ensure, when mixed no more than 0.0002% (2 ppm) soluble chromium (VI) of the total dry weight of the cement. Use of this product after the end of the declared storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.

If you choose to have your order delivered to your local store, it is completely free and will be delivered within 5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays).
When your order arrives in your chosen store, we will e-mail you to advise that your order is ready for collection. Your order will be held in store for 7 days.
We aim to deliver items that are currently in stock in 3-5 working days (excluding Bank Holidays) after the date the order is placed.

You can also select a convenient day to receive your delivery by choosing a named day delivery (delivery on working days only).

Orders placed before 1.00pm on a Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), can be delivered on a Saturday for an additional charge.

If you are returning the item under your 14 day right to cancel, then a collection charge will be applied:
- Products < 20kg: £7.50
- Products > 20kg: £30
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Post back the item to the Robert Dyas Warehouse
