Bartoline TX10 Paint and Varnish Stripper

The TX10 Paint and Varnish Stripper is a highly effective non Methylene Chloride formulation, which is non flammable and is biodegradable. As the product is water based, there is minimal evaporation. It clings 100% to vertical surfaces, hence no drips, runs or waste. It is suitable for use both indoors and out and is used by serious professionals and novices.
A generous coating is applied by brush to the surface to be stripped and left for approximately 30 minutes. For areas where there are more than five layers, a second coat maybe be necessary. Once TX10 has penetrated to the substrate, it can be scraped off leaving the surface clean. The stripped area can then be rubbed down using sandpaper, steel wool or a scrubbing brush.

Effective paint stripper
Had doubts if this would be effective due to its eco credentials, but it removed several layers of paint in one application. Low odour and a gel like consistency meant it wasn't very messy. Would recommend

It works and it's made in the UK!
It works and it's made in the UK and that's always a good thing! 2 coats as suggested, used on a 100 year old section of wood with numerous coats of paint on. I have no complaints about this product. Paul Jonsson, Woking.

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by one of the following methods:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
