Hi I have had this folding basket for a while, it has now split across the folds. I am not sure how long they are supposed to last

Not fit for purpose, fall apart easily.
Have 2 of these which were bought about 18 months ago and have been used for normal washing loads (not too heavy) in rotation. One has. Ow completely fallen apart and the other is well on its way. Very disappointed as at first thought they were great baskets.

Collapsible laundry basket fell apart !
I bought a turquoise 37L hip hugger collapsible laundry basket in January 2022 as it sounded like a great idea for compact storage. After about a year of using a couple of times a week, cracks began to appear in the rubberised expandable layers.
After around 18 months (July 23) the laundry basket came apart completely as the top layer came away from the lower part - leaving me with a pile of clean washing spread across the ground! Basket not repairable and a waste of money and the guarantee is only for 12 months.
I would not recommend this product as the expansion material is clearly not flexible or strong enough to withstand folding and unfolding over a period of time.

I bought this in March 2021 and by December 2022 is it completely useless. The walls started to split very early on and now can’t be used at all.

this is an excellent concept and love the product but it has broken after about 5 months of use.
