The Benross brand brings you this large portable air cooler. Cools and humidifies. The machine has a touch control panel and remote operation too that can set the 3 speeds and timer that can run for up to 7 1/2hours. The unit automatically blows air from left to right with a 90 degree arc and has a manual up and down as well. Includes two ice boxes and a 10 Litre water tank.

Air Cooler
Have not used it so far as we are on the midst of winter. Bought cooler in anticipation of a hot summer so are unable to comment on it's performance. However, it appears to be a well made unit and well designed.

Poor build quality
I was disappointed to find that both units had damage to the front panels and one has a small dent on the top.I managed to push the front panels back in but there is still a gap showing. I guess this is why they were at the price we paid. Hopefully the damage won’t be detrimental to the use of the coolers.

Only blows like normal fan, ticked/creaked also
Unfortunately I really cannot recommend this at all. When it arrived I was excited to try it as its meant to blow out cooler air then a regular fan because you put water and/or ice in it to help it produce a cooler air, however we stood ours next to our regular tower fan, filled it with water and ice bottles plus extra ice as recommended, and the air after 40mins was only a fraction cooler than that from a normal tower fan. Not worth the extra money, and on top of that, after 10 minutes of ours being on, a creaking noise started which we located to be from the back somewhere near the filter panel, and it continued the entire time the fan is on (like a door creaking open, but CONSTANTLY). Tried it for 2 days to see if it would stop (about 2-3 hours each) day and it didn't stop so just returned for a refund. Went back to using our tower fan instead, which was less than half the price. The only real way to get proper cool air is with plumbed in air conditioning I think.
