The Most Incredible Joe Wicks Protein Pancakes

Do decadence and health go hand in hand? With these Joe Wicks protein pancakes they do! These incredible banoffee pancakes are luxurious yet pack a real protein punch that’s ideal for a post-workout snack. Thanks to this genius balancing act of healthy eating and pure indulgence, it’s one of our favourite Joe Wicks recipes yet.

Before you start, make sure you’ve got all your cooking equipment:


60g self raising flour
20g Body Coach vanilla protein powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
1 medium egg
1 egg white
100g yoghurt, such as Greek, natural, soya 
1/2 tsp coconut oil
75g banana (roughly 1 small banana), sliced 


Mix the flour, protein powder, baking powder and half the cocoa in a mixing bowl and create a well in the middle. Add the egg, egg white and 70g of the yoghurt and then whisk until you have a smooth consistency.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and add generous helpings of the pancake mixture, frying them for around a minute on each side until fluffy and golden.

Stack the pancakes with a layer of the remaining yoghurt in between, along with slices of banana, and then finish off with a dusting of cocoa powder.

The result is pure heaven.
