As I have a dishwasher I realised that I only needed a mat for drying the few things that I wash by hand. This mat is perfect for the job and fits my draining board perfectly.

How to protect your quartz or granite work surface
Exactly what I wanted as a drying mat. I had looked at a range and decided this Brabantia mat was of a good quality as well as a practical item. Appropriate size for my needs as 44cm length and 31.5cm width; like a tea tray size I had used previously. It does the job it's designed to do, that is, draining water from the work surface, in this case a quartz one. Or I can easily lift for the water to drain, once the mat has been emptied. We live in a soft water area so there is no staining, as can happen in a hard water area, I understand. One reviewer had commented that it can get dirtied underneath so I am ensuring this does not happen by my checking regularly. I hang over the taps overnight, or it could be placed either in the dishwasher, or in a drawer once dry, as suggested on the packaging.

1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
2. Visit Your Local Robert Dyas Store
Whether you bought the product in store, online or over the phone, most of our products can be returned to a Robert Dyas stores. Please bring your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Please do not attempt to return large or heavy products, including large kitchen appliances, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture etc to your local store. If in doubt of whether you should return a product to your local store, please contact customer services first.
