The Maxtra+ features a new mesh filter which is 25% finer for even better reduction of particles, with the patented MicroFlow technology effectively removing impurities from tap water for great-tasting water – whether you’re drinking it straight, brewing a cuppa or preparing ingredients for meals.
It also protects kettles and coffee machines from limescale build-up and damage by permanently absorbing chlorine, metals and organic impurities to enhance both the flavour and aroma of your tea and coffee.

Really nice looking
I've used Britta jugs for many years, so l know that are brilliant for any kitchen. I saw this one which matches my kitchen in colour and was even more pleased when l received it. It's sleek and very nice looking and does it's job very well as Britta jugs do.

Slim and fits perfectly in the fridge door!
My previous brita filter jug was too big and had to be left out of fridge and cluttered work top. Space is minimal living in london still needed to filter foul tasting tap water but save on clutter. This is perfect!

As expected
I got this to try to encourage myself to drink more water - which is working as it tastes nice and clean - and also to use in my new kettle when making hot drinks. My old kettle got so destroyed from limescale so I'm hoping this helps prevent the build up. God knows what that's doing to our insides too! Jug fills easily through the pop up lid and pours well. I don't keep it in my fridge due to lack of space and if I'd thought it through I'd have bought a larger capacity as I get through a jug very quickly.

Does the job!
Really happy with this product. I had been experiencing odd tasting tea and having just moved to London, I thought it could be the water. This filter has done exactly what I was hoping and can now guarantee a great tasting cup of tea every time! Colour of the lid is great too.

Takes several flushes
I decided to upgrade to the Maxtra+ but after inserting the filter (in date) it took 6 flushes before the water became clear. It had a light grey sediment colour. One it was cleared, it was ok hence the 4 stars

Fairly easy to use
Bit pricey especially the cartridges which are not straight forward to use, but the water, once filtered is very clear and tastes fine. As an elderly person who has arthritic hands, the jug fits the shelf in the fridge and is not too heavy to carry once water is inside.
