I finally have ice whenever I want :)
For some reason, using ice trays has not worked out well for us. The trays get tipped over, they get smelly over time, and they had a habit of not getting refilled because it was annoying to try not to spill them when bringing them to the freezer and trying to fit them in. This ice maker, on the other hand, is really easy to use and makes nice bullet ice really quickly. We got the Masterclass Stainless Steel Storage tub (2.7L) to store extra ice in the freezer and it's worked out really well.
