Overview

The perfect addition to any outdoor space for keeping logs and firewood stored neatly. This triple log store from Charles Bentley is a great looking unit that's been made with long-lasting materials for stability.

With plenty of space and a handy secondary shelf for storage, this unit is ideal for keeping logs off of the floor and dry ready for use. The slatted design and slanted roof help to protect against the elements and the raised floor allows for air circulation to dry logs.

Made from FSC approved Nordic Spruce, the timber in this log store has been certified as sourced from an environmentally conscious supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought to accommodate lock-down rubbish! I bought the log store to tidy up the garden and household rubbish accumulating at the back of the garden during lock-down. Heavy rain was getting into the garden sacks and they were splitting and getting soggy. There was also some household rubbish waiting for dump trips but the council dumps were closed. It was delivered to the front of the house and I didn't hear a doorbell so it was a little while before I got the email saying it had been delivered - there was no chance to ask the driver if he could deliver it to the back garden entrance instead. I'm not sure if there was space for me to ask that in the delivery instructions because I didn't think of it until after the log store had been delivered - my own silly fault! I unpacked it in the front garden (I'm on my own and it was too heavy to lift and move the whole package) and then took all the pieces through to the back garden. I had shed and fence paint left over from earlier in the year so I used that to paint the log store parts. I'm a 60-yr old woman on my own during lock-down so there wasn't anyone to help. I found it very easy to put together by myself - I laid it out on the ground, propped the roof section into place to enable me to square it off but didn't actually attach the roof at that stage because I didn't think I could lift it with the roof on. I don't have power tools so I was just using a normal household screwdriver and hammer. It comes with a shelf but I didn't install the shelf because the back slats get nailed into position after the shelf is secured so you can't move it later. I decided to leave it out so I can install it later (it fits inside the framework so you can find other ways to support it without screwing through the back of the frame). Once the frame (without roof) was built I lifted it up into position and then I could lift the roof section up on it's own to put into position over the top and secure it. I'm very happy with the log store and it has enabled me to clear up the back of the garden which was starting to look like a home version of a dump! Once the council dumps are open again and the rubbish has gone I will use it for storing garden stuff and pots and soil etc.
