These don't live up to expectationsI had been pondering buying a set of these for several years and earlier this week - on the spur of the moment - I bought them. Unfortunately, they don't cut the mustard. For a start, none of the sizes fits any of my containers, whether they be opened tins or food bowls. They are either too large or too small.
On top of that, the silicone doesn't adhere very well to the container they're supposed to seal. When I encountered problems because the covers don't fit anything I've got, I assumed, "Well, perhaps you're just supposed to stretch them across the container to achieve a tight seal." That doesn't work, either! The silicone material doesn't seem to oblige - even on glass/Pyrex bowls.
All in all, I'm going to revert to cling film or to my cheap, elasticated food covers in many sizes and will keep these Silicone ones for emergencies only.
