It's bright enough
Recently moved a bookshelf to the landing and used an old 7w night light. It was too bright to sleep with the bedroom door open. Replaced with this one and when everything is dark the landing is lit by a soft glow. Door is now open and bookshelf is sufficiently illuminated. Just what we wanted.

Not a night light
I agree with others, it only gives out same sort of light as a fairy bulb, and is extremely dim. Definitely not worth buying or being overcharged. Dyas need to review product.

Do not buy if you want a proper Night Light
I bought this to replace one. It produces probably 3-4 times less light than the old one. Very poor and dim as the other reviewer stated. Intend to return but the cost of doing so without combining with another purpose makes it uneconomical. It will go back. if only because it is so useless!!

Dim. Very Dim
Bought this to light up landing at night, just enough to be safe
It is extremely dim, I thought that maybe it starts off dim and gets brighter, but no.
It gives out about the same light as a single Christmas tree light .
Will be returning for a refund
