Disappointed
I purchased this table and benches online. The goods arrived earlier than anticipated. However, working full time, I was not able to open and assemble the products until a couple of weeks after receiving the goods, so they remained unopened. On opening the packaging, before assembling the goods it was evident that the items have been dispatched from the suppliers faulty. They have painted scratches with some sort of paint & seemed to have slapped it on anyway except neatly!! I reported these faults to Robert Dyas Customer Service, but was hugely disappointed with the response. The Customer Services Advisor advised that faulty goods have to be reported within a certain time frame & as I hadn't, there was nothing that could be done about the faulty goods. I responded to the CS Team advising that the goods had been left in the packaging unopened until I had time to assemble the products, but my reply seems to have fallen on deaf ears and I have not even been dignified with a reply. Very poor Customer Service in my opinion.
