This environmentally friendly alternative to toxic chemicals is great for ridding your garden of unwanted plants. Thanks to its compact and innovative design, this powerful device precisely targets the weeds with bursts of heat without flames and gas, effectively killing the weeds with no risk of damaging the surrounding plants or ground.
The burner has two temperature settings (50°C and 600°C) so you can customise the tool according to the needs of your outdoor space. It’s compact and lightweight body makes it easy to use and the directive cone allows you to concentrate and precisely to target the plants that you want.
It also has a handy stand so once you have finished you can leave the cone off of the ground until it was fully cooled down.

Turns weeds to ash in seconds!!!
Very effective little piece of kit and addictive fun to use. Weeds shrivel up within seconds and turn to ash if you give them a few seconds more attention. A couple of hours playing with the Draper Weed Burner and my driveway, paths and patio were completely free of weeds. After a month of rain they have nor reappeared either.

Easy to set up and use
I am disabled and in a wheel chair, and to save the mrs bending to weed, I got the Weed Burner, the mrs tried it out for about 5 mins then the rain started, it worked well but looking forward to spring and dry weather and the weed burner will work a treat.

Does the job - happy so far
I have used it three or four times so far. It took me a while to realise you don't need to incinerate the weeds to kill them. The user manual recommends 3 seconds exposure to kill them and that seems to work. Works very well on small weeds in crevices, the ones that are hard to get at manually. It's easy to miss the odd weed though but it's no hardship to go over again later on. I'm pleased so far. One thing to look out for: you have to remember to unreel the extension lead or it can start to heat up as the burner is using 2Kw.

Works as described. Safer way to remove weeds.
Have used this for a month or so and very impressed. Need to hold directly over weeds and make sure you shut doors and windows nearby, there can sometimes be quite a bit of smoke! Very light weight and simple to operate.

I find the weed burner easy to use on my brick-weave drive...it’s not quick but it is thorough. The cord is not long so needs an extension lead.

Great fun!
Does exactly what I wanted it to. It basically works like a really hot hairdryer and just frizzles the weeds to death. I had weeds growing right next to my new plants, so didn’t want to use a spray in case I killed them too. I also hadn’t been careful enough with the grass seed so had grass growing in my border. This sorted it all perfectly! It’s quick, efficient and saves your back. Good for the price.
Take care though. The end gets very hot! I burned my leg putting it away before it had completely cooled.

Good value and fewer weeds!
I have been fighting the patio weeds for years. I saw a weed burner advertised and did some research. I wanted something light and easy to use with a reasonably long cord and I didn't want to pay too much in case it wasn't a successful purchase. I have found it very good at zapping the weeds and I don't have any problems using it. I recommend it.

Great weed burner
This burner works well in keeping weeds down. My patio had weeds growing to at least a foot tall between the slabs, I cut them down to as low as I could before finishing them off with this burner (great feeling of power to see clumps of weeds erupt in flames). Now I just give the cracks a quick burn if anything appears. I have to use an extension lead but that’s not a problem.
