Overview
This device allows you to fit a water butt diverter with minimal messing around with the downpipe.
Conventional downpipe filters and water butt connectors require 2 cuts in the existing downpipe with the filter or diverter sitting in line with the downpipe.
This nifty innovative device allows the downpipe to be cut with a holesaw (provided) and the connector is simply inserted into the hole and tightened up.

Difficult to Fit
I am usually fairly good at DIY, never had a problem, until now. This is cumbersome to fit to say the least. The instructions are not that clear and can lead to a mistake if not careful. Thankfully, I managed to decipher them – just need to take care. There are three issues:
1. The connection pipe is far too stiff to fit correctly and needs to be more flexible. There is undue pressure exerted on the connections which can cause them to leak;
2. The tool for drilling out the connection holes is not up to the task. The central drill bit is too blunt;
3. The connection within the down pipe is too large, despite being stated to be the perfect size.
I would not buy this again.

Expensive mistake
Much too big for the average downpipe and only good for round pipes not square. Couldn’t make it fit our pipes so complete waste of money.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
