Excellent product
This is the second Barrica barrel water butt that I have purchased. The other one is over 20 years old and still looks as good as new. Yes, it is expensive but it looks fantastic just like a real oak barrel, there is no need for a base as the tap is just above watering can height and unlike wood which rots this barrel seems to last forever. I thoroughly recommend.

I live on a cider farm. This water collection barrel was a natural choice. Fits in perfectly with the cider barrels and does an excellent job.

Lid is flawed
Nice sturdy item, one flaw is the lid, good that it is lockable but there is no drainage for water as it is recessed and water sits on the lid.

Fitted this yesterday. All went well. Very happy with how it looks despite it being obviously plastic. No rain yet so time will tell how well it works but it seems sturdy and the fittings are

Nice water butt…but not great value for money
I’ve not used it yet but was disappointed to read the small print after it had been delivered that it didn’t include the fixings, which were ridiculously expensive on top of an already expensive item. Also, it came on a pallet and the driver would not move it anywhere or unpack it for checking so I had a pallet to dispose of too!

If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
