A good decision

Substandard size, unscrupulous refusal to refund
This trolley turned out to be substandard size so I immediately returned to the store and asked for a standard sized one or refund. The store manager refused to replace or refund the shopping trolley based on his argument that it had been used and not in original package. I had purchased the trolley already assembled with no packaging at all and carried it out of the store with its wheels rolling on the ground as it was a trolley, how else do you carry a trolley? I returned to the store within a minute from the purchase as it was a substandard size and it kept hitting my feet during the walking. How else would I find out it was a substandard size than by actually walking with it? I find the refusal to refund quite unscrupulous as I was happy to pay more for a standard sized trolley. But if a few pounds are REALLY worth for the company losing a customer who has bought a number of products from it in the past then I (and my family) will never purchase anything from the company ever more.
