Good value basic
We bought this so our grandson could listen to old cassettes which he loves. It was quite hard to find a cassette player and this one does the job fine (so far)

Disappointing
To be honest this portable cassette recorder is not very good. It is basically just an old-fashioned memo machine. I bought it to check some old cassette tapes to check whether to archive the recordings or throw them away. I realise that it only has one speaker but I assumed that the output from the headphone socket would be stereo, which is not the case. In addition, music tapes do not play in concert pitch. The sound from its own speaker is very "tinny" and the controls require quite a lot of effort to push them down.
