Lovely toaster
I bought this in store in dark blue but that colour isn’t on the web site. However, colour apart, this is a lovely toaster, feels fairly robust and it’s nice that you don't have to use all 4 slots at the same time. I like to put mine away in a cupboard when not in use, and this one has neat cable tidy slots underneath so you don't have the cable trailing all over the place. Toasts evenly and quickly, and would definitely recommend.

Love the style but...
I love the style of this chunky solid toaster but disappointed that even standard sliced bread does not fit completely into it. If you put the slice bread in standing up, the top sticks out and doesn't toast and if you lay it in sideways, you have to 'squeeze' it in so it sticks and won't pop up. I believe that is now pretty standard with 'new' toasters nowadays as I asked family and friends and they had the same issues with their different branded toasters. This replaced my old toaster that I had for 25yrs and never had any issues like this with it.

Fabulous colour.
Four slice toaster with separate controls for depth of browning on each two slices, perfect, as my husband likes lightly toasted and I don't. Very Retro design, reminiscent of the front of a VW! I bought the matching coloured kettle which I reviewed also.

NOT recommended!
This replaced a previous one that was faulty and I can't believe, I'll probably be getting this one replaced too. The highest setting for toasting is so poor, you have to pop it in twice to get a decent colour. Don't bother buying a big branded item like this and stick to a cheaper one, as you'll have better results. Looks lovely but performance is rubbish. Not recommended at all!
