Excellent Combo Set
Excellent value and well made.... just what I needed.
Hilka supplied direct in 3 days in sturdy packaging which showed some signs of mishandling but the contents survived due to quality of packing.
Only down side not fitted with draw mats. However, rather than buying some I cut up the sturdy cardboard box it came in which made very suitable draw liners. :)

Excellent value
Bought this after looking on a certain internet auction site! Great quality and finish and a branded product with roller bearing drawers, for the same money as an unbranded item. I've added thin rubber matting in the drawers to reduce the noise from tools clattering about inside. Well happy with this.

Great tool Chest
Brilliant price for a real quality piece of kit. I used to spend more time looking for tools than doing a job, so this will be an essential piece of furniture in the garage. Due to the expense, i’ve Been putting off buying one of these cabinets, but now wish I’d done it years ago. Drawer sliders and overall finish is very good and the general structure is robust but not a heavy-weight. Delivery was prompt and unfussy. A Very Pleased Engineer!

I bought this a few months ago and am really pleased with it.A ll my tools fitted in easily, and many other useful things in the small drawers.The unit is easy to move and the drawer action is smooth, overall a good toolbox at a good price

Gert lush!
Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Friday! Very easy to set up, just 4 bolts per wheel and outlet of blots for the side handle. Very robust and so far seems very good quality. Locks seem decent and secure. I also bought the middle section add-on for extra drawer space. Highly recommend this unit for home and professional use, although it may be too small for a mechanics full artillery of tool! Very happy with my purchase and the price here could not be beaten, trust me I looked! My friend bought a similar cheap unit from eBay and the quality is very poor compared to this Hilka unit.

Would strongly recomend
I brought this product about a month ago and have found it excellent. I really like the fact that when you shut the lid to the top box it locks all the draws to the top box. The draws have a good amount of depth to the them so can store a wide range of tools in. Amazing quality for the price a lot better then other toolboxes is the similar price bracket

Great toolbox for the money
Good size solid toolbox. Top box has side handles for easy handling and bottom storage has caster wheels for easy maneuverability. Good drawers with ball bearing runners, the only disappointment I can find is it doesn't come with draw liners.

Good quality and well made product
Having put off buying some much needed storage for my tools for a considerable time I eventually opted for the Hilka 14 Drawer Combination Chest. Having conducted some research online this seemed like a good option and was also available at a competitive price.
The unit arrived within a few days (despite the COVID 19 restrictions) and, so fra, I am very pleased with my purchase. It was easy to assemble (certainly much better that the average Ikea flat pack conundrum) and within a few minutes was standing proudly in one corner of my (now less cluttered) garage. The quality and design are very good and it has a reassuringly solid feel about it.
The only minor drawbacks are a lack of draw liners which might have been reasonably expected when paying this price and the fact that the opening of the top section of drawer is linked to the position of the main top section. The small compartments will only open when the top lid is raised.
The unit is easy to move around with the swivelling wheels and a guide handle and appears to be robust enough to survive the odd bump and scrape.
Overall, a good purchase and one I would recommend (at this price).

Just right!
I have had my tools in three different tool boxes for years and spread out around the house.
I did my research and went for this product combination and I am very pleased with the result. All my tools are together so I know what I've got and sorted out into the various drawers so I can find them when needed.

Solid build, but could do with some drawer mats
I bought myself one recently as I know it'll last.
My last work had one when I joined and it was still there when I left (5 years on) with all the paintwork intact, all the drawers running smoothly - never any service required.
Only thing is, it doesn't come with any soft matting inside. I bought 3 rolls of anti slip matting which seems to do the job so not really a biggy; but for the price you'd think they could come as standard

Good Domestic Tool Cabinet
Bought this to get a variety of tools,tapes,screws & washers together in one place. The mix of drawer sizes & depths does it perfectly. Good construction for domestic use if not the heavy gauge steel required for an industrial use. Not the cheapest & not the most expensive but very good value for money.

Not bad, but missing vital components
I bought this a month ago, and struggled for 45 minutes to get it unpacked and assembled. The last part of the assembly process is attaching the handle using the screws provided and the integral nuts. The integral nuts are all missing. At the time of writing I am still waiting for that to be sorted out, despite contacting Robert Dyas immediately. Shame, as it would be a very useful mobile tool chest which is now a bit of a pain to move about.

This was the best 14 drawer chest and cabinet for the price. Easy to assemble and relatively robust. There are a couple of things I didn't like, firstly there are no liners in the draws. I had to buy some thin ribbed rubber matting and cut it to size. This added about £20 to the cost. The drawers are pop riveted in, so cannot be removed. To access the drawers in the small cabinet that sits on top of the chest, the lid has to be fully open to release the locking mechanism. Finally, the drawers have to be pushed in very firmly to close them sufficiently to stay shut. There is some type of interference fit to ensure they stay closed, this makes them hard to open and close. Other than that it's not a bad setup.

Good product let down by outgoing quality control.
Bought online, delivered quickly in pristine packaging. When opened, the top section was damaged - a badly buckled corner - preventing the lid from closing properly and the locking system from working. This was not transit damage, it had been packed like that.
Robert Dyas customer service responded very quickly with an offer to replace the whole item.
Apart from the damage the chest is very good indeed, with lots of storage space and smoothly operating drawers. Putting the handle and wheels on was very easy and took only a few minutes.
An excellent product let down by quality control.

Poor customer service
I have just received my item, I followed the instructions that came with it and after installing the wheels and up righting the tool box I have found that it rocks a considerable amount (roughly an inch) and looks to be incredibly unstable with the top box on, I have contacted the seller for a full refund with no response at all
