Compact and lightweight powerful multi-function jump starter, power bank and emergency torch unit with the latest cutting edge jump starter technology, capable of jump starting engines up to 6L petrol and 3L diesel.
It can be used as a power bank and used as charger for mobile devices (Type C and Micro USB cable included), laptop (adaptors included for most laptops) and 12v socket adaptor for car accessories. It also comes with an integrated LED emergency torch with 3 settings (constant, strobe and SOS) with LED battery level indicators.

Ideal back up/auxiliary power supply for EV’s
The jump starter is ideal for any car. I use mine to power an electric tyre pump that would drain the 12v battery if plugged in directly to the car. Having all connections you may require including the Charger ln one package is so convenient.

Pocket Power Station!
I was dubious at first... how can something so small jump start a big Diesel engine? Having read the reviews and finding a price point that I was happy with I took a leap of faith and made my purchase. Once unpacked, the power bank is presented in a neat carry case with all of the required accessories. The unit was also charged and raring to go. After the recent cold spells and as I only use the car for the weekly shop on Sundays, the car battery was gradually depleting. So with power bank in hand (just in case) I went to start the car and of course it just didn’t have the juice to turn it over to start. I attached the power bank and hey presto the car started easily! This is a serious bit of kit and I highly recommend it to get you out of a bind when you’re not quite ready to whip the battery out to stick it on a trickle or fast charge.

Unbelievable
My campervan had not turned a wheel during the winter and lockdown months, i bought this in anticipation of the battery being flat which it was, completely dead. I have a 3 litre petrol engine but bought the one for up to 6 litre engine, so attached the leads and crossed my fingers and turned the key and wow the engine fired into life instantly. I can only comment on using it once and hope not to have to use it again but it gives you confidence that should the battery go flat in the future you have answer in your glovebox.

Works a treat!
I did some research and this model was very highly rated by expert magazine. I’ve only used it once but it started my 2.0 litre Audi first time. It feels well built and is easy to use. The carry case is useful (though you get a lot of unnecessary sockets and converters).

Starting insurance
After seeing a couple of cars at the roadside having their batteries charged with jump leads I thought it wise to invest in something to get me out of a similar situation, especially as winter was approaching. I checked out a number of jump starters eventually settling on the Hilka 600 amp. Robert Dyas were selling them new at a lower price than eBay and having dealt with them before I knew my order would be dealt with efficiently. The device is solid and well made, has several connectors for charging devices such as mobile phones,tablets,etc as well as its primary purpose of starting a car with a flat battery. It is all contained in a robust case and will fit in a glove compartment. Charging the device is quick and easy and should be done every 3 months or after every use. I have not needed to use it to start a car but it is reassuring to know that with a couple of connections to the battery this will do the job. I tried it with a tablet and it worked perfectly. A great piece of kit that gives peace of mind.

Worked when needed
I bought this at best price. It is for use when car battery is flat. Pleased to report it started my wife's car 1st time when battery was so flat it could not be unlocked with remote key.

Great package
Bought this during February’s cold snap after our hybrid car suffered a flat battery whilst out leaving us stranded. Great size, means we can take out in glove box of car, also range of leads to charge other items is great. Chose 600 amp as means we can also use with our larger engined car giving us greater peace of mind. Not used to start car yet, hence just 4 stars. Knew Hilda brand well and this was well priced.

Ok for petrol cars but not diesel!
Starts my motorcycle ok, but wouldn’t start my work van when needed, it’s a 2.0L diesel and states it should start it... but nothing.

Rubbish!
I have a4.4L car and it would not start it! Instructions are poor. I got it dirty with my mucky hands so can't even send it back! Nicely made though hence the one star. Going back to old school battery and jump leads.
