Overview
Differing from past traditional foot operated bins, this series of sensor dustbins use infrared technology for convenient use. It will sense your approaching, activating the motorised lid for your convenience. The lid will automatically close after a few seconds of non–usage. The units can also be opened and closed manually by pressing the buttons on the lid.
These bins are battery powered so no wiring is needed. Just pop in 4 AA batteries and the bin is ready to use. With a durable stainless steel mirror finishing body, they ensure a longer service life and are stylish and beautiful in all types of interior settings. Please note batteries and bin bags are not included.

Great little bin.
The bin is tall enough but not wide enough as thought. But still does the job.

Slim and great sensor
I bought this bin to fit into a small recessed space alongside another bin for recycling.
The sensor is sensitive, so you can run you hand over a foot above the lid and it opens. Hilarious when you don't have it in a recess as your elbow walking past can set it off. The noise is faint enough to be a little creepy in the dark!
The bin a quite tall too, so regular 50l bin bags fit will but might not reach the full length of the bin. I took out the insert as this seemed to really reduce the capacity.
Overall, I'm happy.
