FAQs

Tower fan vs pedestal fan, Which is the best?

This will mostly depend of the size of your room. A pedestal fan is more powerful than a tower fan and are ideal for large rooms. A tower fan is quieter than a pedestal fan and will work better when it’s close to you, doesn’t take up lots of space and are also easily portable.

How does a pedestal fan work?

Ventilation is a particularly simple process. A pedestal fan stirs the ambient air in the room which creates movement and air flows. This air circulation causes the temperature to cool, which induces a feeling of freshness. The greater the volume of air is moved, the greater the feeling of freshness is. But this volume depends above all on the power and the size of the fan. It is therefore important to take both of these aspects into account when choosing a fan. Also be aware that a fan is not an air conditioner and that its role is to cool, not to lower the temperature of a room.

How to clean a standing fan?

1. Unplug the fan from the power socket.

2. Remove the grill by unscrewing it or detaching the clips, then detach the blades by unscrewing the cap that holds them.

3. Use a dry cloth to remove the dust, for heavy stains apply a small amount of soap to a damp cloth and wipe it. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush to remove the dust.
