The HYM40LI380P is the ideal battery-powered lawn mower for small to medium-sized lawns bringing you a clean, green, cable-free mowing experience. No cables, no petrol and no pollution, the HYM40LI380P lawnmower is powered by the market-leading Samsung 40v Lithium-ion 2.5Ah battery, no more messy fuel or dangerous mains cables.
This mower uses a powerful 40v motor, with a cutting width of 380mm, so it's perfectly suited for small to medium-sized lawns. It also features a spacious quick release 40L easy airflow grass catcher with hard lid, meaning you spend less time emptying the cuttings and more time mowing. Attaching and removing the grass collection bag couldn't be simpler and the convenient grass level indicator on the top of the grass catcher will always inform you when the grass catcher is ready to be emptied.
With no engine to service, you also don't need to spend time checking oil, air filters or spark plugs, making it extremely easy to maintain. It also comes with a mulching plug (your dropped cuttings become compost, creating a healthier-looking, greener lawn) and rear roller for a striped lawn effect.

The handles fold down over the main power unit, which makes this compact lawn mower easy to carry and store in a garden shed, garage and transport in the boot of your car. It’s quick and easy to assemble out of the box, allowing you to get it in your garden for the first cut in no time at all.
- Part of the Hyundai 40v collection – One battery powers the entire Hyundai 40v range, enabling you to buy bare units of additional machines at reduced cost and interchange the battery for a cost-effective collection of garden tools. Cordless Lawnmower
Have only used once for the first cut this Spring, but I found its easy to put the few pieces together. It is lightweight and the battery lasts longer than I expected. Quick to charge as well. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent value
The lawnmower arrived on time and the instructions for assembly were clear. It is easy to handle and gives a good cut, much lighter than my old petrol mower. Only used once for the last cut before winter, but I am pleased so far and would recommend this to anyone looking for a lawnmower for a small to medium sized garden.

Great Buy. Would definitely buy again.
Even after doing diligent research, I was not overly confident in replacing my trusty petrol mower with a battery powered one. However, the Hyundai mower has proved to be a good choice and overall, I am very happy with it:
Pros:
- Sufficiently powerful. No problem picking up leaves/small twigs as well as good grass collection, including damp grass (manufacturer does not recommend using on wet grass).
- Lightweight. I could readily pick this up with one hand.
- Easy to assemble. No tools required. The handle needs a couple of hand tightened bolts to put together. These have fast release levers to fold up or down for storage. The grass collection box does not require assembly and simply hooks on.
- Sufficient charge. Charge level is indicated by 4 LEDs on the battery. I use about 50% charge on my medium-sized front lawn, which has multiple cut-outs around shrubs/grasses and a weeping ash tree. The back lawn, even though about the same size, takes only 25% charge as it’s just a simple rectangle. Re-charging (from around 25% remaining charge) takes less than an hour.
- Easy height adjustment from a single lever.
- Storage/cleaning. When folded down the mover can be made to rest on its back wheels and a couple of feet to minimise space for storage. This also exposes the bottom to facilitate easy cleaning.
Cons:
- The back wheel can ‘drift’ towards the body and rub against the grass box. To me, this is a design snag that could have been avoided with the addition of a washer. Although annoying, it can simply be pushed back without difficulty.
- The easy height adjustment can be too easy. It can catch when mowing round the underneath of a shrub and inadvertently cause a change in the height. This is a minor niggle and can be avoided by mowing in the opposite direction so that the handle is on the side away from overhanging growth.

Bought this to replace heavy petrol mower, and it is light and easy to use. Assembly was straight forward with no problems. Have used once and delighted with results.

Excellent mower
Its powerful, battery ok for small garden. I bought another from Very that arrived damaged. This Hyundai is noticeably less plasticky and feels a lot studier.
