Comfortable
I have been using these for a month now and they are very comfortable to the plug in ear phones i had as they kept falling out, these fit snug over my ears. I find the features that I can hear whats going on around me and be able to have a conversation with someone without removing them a really great idea. I also have found that the battery charge is also very good and I can use my earphones for 3 days before needing to recharge them this has to be one of the best qualities of this product. I would have liked them to have a carry case as they are flexible I dont like to idea of them hanging from my bag incase they fall off. I also found the instructions printed very small but I think with these earphones you just have to play around with them and find what works for you but they are very nice and glad I got them.

Great priced headphonez
Have been using the live 400 and absolutely love the sound. The alexa/assistant is excellent for quickly adding your playlists or all usual other functions. My favourite part was the ability to be watching t.v in my bedroom with my 18 month son also in the room not disturbing him sleeping and still having the ability to hear him.

Surprisingly good!
A lovely comfy fit with an great adjustable fabric band. Some headphones I find can’t go quite as small as my head but this one fits snug.
The battery life is wonderful. I’ve been using it on and off for over a week and still haven’t had to recharge it:
The buttons to control the Bluetooth, talkback features and song skips takes some getting used to because they’re so small and quite close together.
The sound is bassy and the fact the ear cups sit completely right over your ear with no weird gaps makes it sound so much better.
I’ve been using these whilst doing my housework, with a loud hoover I heard nothing but the music!!!
I love the fact I can more freely with no wires getting in the way or tangled

Ear hurts
Every time I wear it for 45 minutes or more, my ear starts hurting, think I need a over ear headphone instead of a on ear one, planning to return it as I can't stand the pain...
Has good sound though.

I need over ears (I think)
I wanted to test these JBL Live 400 headphones because I've been frustrated with all types of cheaper headphones. In-ear ones fallout all the time and on-ear tend to hurt after a while.
I was expecting these JBL Live 400 headphones to be comfortable and with some useful features that are simple to use.
I turned the headphones on with a flick of a sliding switch. The blue flashing flight indicating the headphones were in pairing mode was easy to spot and my mobile device vibrated and indicated that it was trying to connect. After another quick vibration I was prompted to download the My JBL Headphones app.
The app was easy to use with intuitive prompts to set up Google assistant.
My first try of Talk Thru and Ambient Aware was fantastic. I'm not quite sure about the Google Assistant, when I press the button on the headphones the Google assistant just tells me the time and that I have no notifications or that the Google assistant isn't connected.
The Ambient Aware is really good for listening to something like football commentary whilst still be able to hear what going on around you, and when I get used to the location of the button on the headphones Talk Thru will be great feature to switch to quickly.
There are a few drawbacks. Unfortunately the instructions are too small and labelled as a quick start guide, which they are not.
When music is playing and I press the Talk Thru button on the app the music goes too quiet for my liking.
When I double press the action button on the headphones to activate the feature to ask the Google assistant, an Oriental tongue speaks a long sentence which I am unable to decipher.
However, sound is good. Listening to bad guy by Billie Eilish was brilliant.
It would be better if the button to access Google assistant notifications was used to access the Talk Thru facility because it is an easier button to locate on the headphones.
The instructions could be clearer indicating which ear is left and which is right. I'm still not 100% sure that the L and R on the headphones are perhaps an L and B from the JBL logo.
It is not obvious how to skip tracks using the buttons on the headphones ... I don't think it is possible without using my mobile device and if it is, it's certainly not intuitive.
And finally my ears hurt after wearing them for any length of time. I think I need to get over ear headphones.

Slightly disappointed
When I first got these I was amazed by the great features of these headphone. Specifically the talk through feature. It’s made life so much easier instead of having to take them on and off to talk to people.
The charge time on these is so quick and it lasts all day which is amazing.
If like me you can sometimes be overwhelmed when reading manuals then the JBL app is a must for you. It explains all the features for you and just how’ve to use them.
The bass is amazingly. You don’t need to have the volume very high to get a great quality crisp sound and good baseline. (EQ can be adjusted in the app).
After a couple of hours on your head does feel a bit squashed as the headphones be are a little tight but with wear they should lose but up and feel better.
The only downfall is that after two weeks one side of thr headphones doesn’t work which isn’t great. Other than that these are great.
