Overview
Those looking for a greenhouse that also offers a great place to store gardening equipment will love this range of Shiplap Combi Greenhouses.
These garden buildings offer the best of both worlds, a greenhouse for growing a wide range of homegrown produce and a spacious shed that can be used to house tools and various pots. The walls are created using 12mm shiplap cladding, each slat interlocks with each other to create a weatherproof seal, each panel is supported by thick 1” x 1” timber framing for additional support during gusty weather.
These buildings are supplied with roofing felt to protect against weather damage and a pad bolt is included for extra security. Two turn buttons are included to keep the large single door closed when not in use. An opening roof vent features in the roofline so that the consumer can regulate the internal temperate.
The shatterproof styrene glazing allows natural light to flood the interior, creating a bright environment that encourages plant growth.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Brilliant shed but watch the instructions
Arrived on time, all parts provided, erected within a day, looks stunning but beware:
The instructions have three elephant traps that can see your beautiful shed and greenhouse become a bit of a nightmare:
1) if combining shed and greenhouse you only need fit 3 of the 4 end panels provided; fit all four and you send the length measurements out plus block/double door the entrance to the potting shed section
2) if you dont then check the measurement/length of each piece against the instructions then you discover, the hard way, that the pieces provided are between 80 and 100mm longer than needed - the instructions read 920mm for the upright sections, the parts provided are cut to 1000mm for example; cut the pieces to the lengths in the instructions and it looks wonderful, the glass fits, the roof joist also fits and it stands upright and rigid. But use the pieces provided in the length provided and your roof joist can be as much as 8 inches short, half your glass does not fit, and the whole thing sags then falls over;
3) trap three, is aesthetic. The shed section is a different colour and grain than the greenhouse. If this worries you then soon sorted and basically paint/stain the whole thing to a matching colour; we went for grey but could be any of racing green, light green, royal blue, cornflour blue, yellow etc but key is that it will suddenly bind what is two buildings built with different structures into a single building
We are amazingly happy and more than satisfied with this greenhouse but do advise reading the instructions several times and then checking the measurements between the parts provided and the instructions. Time taken at the start will save a day of frustration

Inadequate directions
Bought knowing we needed to add additional stability to the greenhouse, however the basic instructions are missing key points and you need common sense to work out what the additional pieces left over add for!

Purchased from you in early Feb ,still waiting to assemble when the weather warns up.the media company delivered a day late and was rough handled when unloaded from lorry? Until assembling time I cannot comment further.a good deal on price.

Snagging
I’m unable to open the hinge.
Please could you replace the hinge that doesn’t open ( see attached photo)
I am very disappointed in the finish of the wood, there were two slates broken in half where there was a knot. There were others that had bits missing where there was a knot.
Why did I have to pay for the back of the greenhouse, which I don’t need as I ordered a shed, greenhouse combo?

Proceed with caution
It’s OK, but that’s a lot of money for OK.....using some spare material I had and a few work arounds it’s now fixed well and in place but don’t buy this unless you can adapt. The quality of raw materials was average at best, a few warped pieces and placed where he nail gun had missed. But by far the worst part, and surely one of the easiest and cheapest to fix is the rubbish instructions. It’s comes as two separate buildings and there is no single set of instructions so that there is spare materials and fixings and much of the time you have to invent your own fix for how to put it together properly. A big let down from the supplier only rectified by the fact that I have been able to rectify the issues.

greenhouse roof panels badly out of shape
I bought this shed - greenhouse a couple of months ago
Unfortunately one of the roof panels is so badly twisted that I cannot get the alignment right to complete the roof and make it watertight it is very frustrating - the shed is great and went together well shame about the poor quality control

Poor Pre fabrication
This prefabricated pack was not made to a high standard , poor nailing , sizes not matching.
This took up huge amounts of my time to rectify the problems I came across.

Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
