The Overlap Apex range offers a rustic look at an affordable price, guaranteed to suit all budgets. All products in this range are constructed using 7mm overlap cladding, 10mm solid sheet floor, 8mm solid sheet roof and 28x28mm framing for strength.
This range offers the choice between a window and windowless shed.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Good shed for price
Bought this for extra storage in the garden. The quality is okay, the wood is quite thin and we had to adjust some slats which had not been nailed together evenly. However, for the price paid it is very good value and as we aim to line the inside and put a roof over the felt it suits us perfectly. Very easy to put together.

Item not yet delivered
As my item has not yet been delivered the only contact I have had is in making the payment. I give you 5 stars for taking the money. Can't also comment on the product as it is not due to arrive until wed 4th what's the point of asking for feedback until after I have had the delivery??

Was barely able to erect this shed last weekend.
All roof beams severely warped,many split wood pieces on sides.
Very thin and flimsy.
This is a £200 shed AT MOST.

Poor quality wood
Shed arrived on delivery date as arranged but on putting shed together we found the wood to be very thin and not to the quality that I expected for £400 pounds.
The floor is to not very solid and windows are very very thin plastic.
Instructions are easy enough but build with a friend that has experience in this area.

Poor quality
Don’t be fooled by the photo. The shed is very poor quality and arrived damaged and missing parts.
It’s very flimsy palett wood. Door doesn’t fit and all panels have been nailed together without pilot holes made, thus splitting the wood. Definitely do not arrange to make it before you get all your damaged parts replaced. Taken weeks for bits to arrive, which is extremely annoying as trying to find somewhere dry to store it has caused problems. If I hadn’t painted some panels (to avoid them getting wet) I would have sent the whole lot back. Very Very disappointed

finaly recieved the last two parts for my shed its a month late already first shed delivery was canceled by the driver who reported damage second delivery Floor damaged planks missing from a side panel so wondered how bad was the damage on the first one so its clear transporting sheds requires more secure packaging to avoid transit damage
then to quality its poor but its a shed costing under £500 kinda get what you pay for assembly ok after you have repaired all the transit damage and pained the apropriate treatment on one thing roof design is auful ridge was shockingly benthad to make brackets to make it secure
roof felt cheap and nasty changed it for a decent one

Poor Quality Shed
This is the first wooden shed Iv bought and the last. The quality of the materials are cheap and the panels/beams are warped. If they don’t arrive warped they will warp in a few weeks just like mine. The roof felt is also cheap and flimsy. Be careful of those protruding nails…i managed to catch my finger on one. I can’t see this shed lasting very long.

Warped sides, nothing sits straight, flimsy construct, roof is a joke and even the screws are terrible, most snapping. Will cost a lot more just to make the structure secure. Wish I never purchased!

Very poor quality
Purchased this shed and on arrival some panels were split, nails werent even the right place, like someone was blindfolded with a nail gun and told do your absolute worst, was offered £40 as compensation which i refused because its laughable, the wood to fix it would have cost more than that, my 4 year old daughter could have built a better shed than this on her own

Quality not good
Iv only had this shed 7 day and when I was putting the shed up the wood was splitting and my foot bent through the floor when I stood on it and then after I treated the shed the door wood shrunk leaving a gap in the side of the door

Incomplete Roof
Our shed came on the time and date specified , driver was friendly , price was good , however when I was putting it together I noticed it was missing the roof , it was then very difficult to contact anyone from the customer services team and I had to go out and buy a bit of OSB to fix the roof as it started snowing - I would recommend the shed but also to check the parts when they are delivered

Avoid at all cost. Its not even that cheap.
I've never seen such a bad quality shed. Go and view one in person before you order this online and you will walk away for sure. Door doesn't even close properly.

Couldn't give it a zero
Bought this a month ago, what a complete waste of money, very thin and flimsy, gaps everywhere, main center beam bent and broken, had to spend more money patching it up, tried to ring and complain got nowhere, and online just kept replying with "I am a robot, I cannot help" then it disappeared from website!
Would definitely NOT recommend.

Cheap and awful
Do not buy this shed. Thin cheap sub standard materials. The roof has bowed and needs supporting and the felt supplied is very poor quality. The door has Warped and rain gets in. Some of the side cladding has warped that badly I can get my hand underneath. Wanted a full refund but was told Mercia's terms and conditions(never seen) state the shed needs treating within 3 months. Even though we hadn't had the shed 3 months when complained. Speaks volumes about the sheds quality. Very disappointed in Robert Dyas selling such a bad product.

Within less than 24 hours of putting the shed up the door had bowed so much there was a huge gap around the door and you could see right through the shed. Within less than a week, the roof had bowed significantly. Do not buy. Not fit for purpose.

Very poor quality shed
Very disappointed with the quality and fit of this shed. Dreadful timber, some of the trim was almost boomerang shaped rather than straight. Full of splits and knot holes. Has required a lot of work to try and put it together because the wood is warped. Would not recommend.

My advice, DON’T buy! Made of Poor materials, some wood were curved, flimsy when built, can even be lifted by 3 people when fully assembled! Have to buy more wood to support the roof! There was also a large gap between the doors, so have to buy more wood to fill the gap!Customer service was great at first, has given me a goodwill gesture but after I complained again for a nail protruding on the panel near one of the windows, did not respond anymore! Bought this because of three good reviews but I wished I could have opted for a full refund and returned it! I thought a big company like Robert Dyas sells good quality materials but I was wrong! Will never order from them anymore since this shed will only last 2 years max! The felt was also very thin!

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
