The Overlap Apex range offers a rustic look at an affordable price, guaranteed to suit all budgets. All products in this range are constructed using 7mm overlap cladding, 10mm solid sheet floor, 8mm solid sheet roof and 28 x 28mm framing for strength.
This range offers the choice between a window and windowless shed.

INSTALLATION PROCESS
Mercia's aim is to make your installation experience as easy as possible, with minimal disruption as possible to your normal routine. To enable this their garden building installation service is as follows...
Once your order has been processed Mercia will send you an email to confirm your order and all the necessary information to ensure your garden is suitable and prepared for installation. It's vital to make sure you have a firm, level base ready to install onto.
Once evidence has been provided of your firm, level base, our friendly customer service team will call you to book in a delivery and installation date that suits you. This will typically be the same day, however, for some buildings it may be different days.
On the day of delivery, we will send you a text to confirm your two-hour delivery slot and a link to the delivery portal, where you will be able to track the exact location of the driver.
Your new garden building will be delivered on a flatbed van. Please make sure there is adequate access to the build site without going through your house, garage or neighbouring property. Providing all is OK, the installation team will move the building into the installation position.
The team will then install your new building as per the product instructions. Once completed, the team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to relax and enjoy your new garden building.

Good quality - for the money.
Pleased with the shed, had it delivered direct to the allotment, delivery updated very good so didn’t have to hang around there all day.
Took two of us 5.5 hours to build - excluding the time to make the base.
Instructions pretty poor, lacking lots of information and a few errors. Meant we put the doors on the wrong way, so have a few holes where the hinges were moved. Panels come with blocks of wood that have to be removed, this was tricky as they hammered in 2-3 nails in which were stubborn.
Instructions said to pilot drill 2mm all holes. I found this too small, so went 3mm, didn’t get any cracked wood with this.
Lots of extra screws and tacks.
Seems like it’s going to be pretty weather resistant, but did take my time in building it, rather than slamming it together.
It’s one of the cheapest sheds you can buy, so for the money, it’s good.

Recent first ever on line large product order
Hi I bought my shed a month ago on line I live in Dalkeith Midlothian
From beginning to end the process was efficient ordered on line then contacted by delivery company arranged day to suit me shed delivered I was so pleased as I had been apprehensive about ordering on line (I don't usually do this) but with this company being willing to go the extra mile during Covid to keep their customers catered for I thought I'd give them a go
Was surprised B&Q couldn't offer same service
Now my Daughter wants a summer house
Can't wait to order when they come back in stock
I did contact your customer service re this and couldn't believe I received such a prompt courteous reply from Andrea there letting me know they will be back in stock August

The shed was delivered today nice and early. All parts clearly identified with all screws clearly labelled and bagged separately. With a friend I had no problem following the instructions putting the shed together and treating the wood in just a few hours.

Recently purchased this shed a few weeks ago. The delivery and tracking and service from Mercia was very good and on time.
The shed itself was at a great budget price so not expecting a luxurious garden building. Its a perfectly fine shed that was easy to put together. I recommend buying a small tin of roof Felt adhesive in addition to using the roof Felt tacks provided and having some additional roof Felt tacks and extra fixing screws of your own if needed when putting the shed together.

Lovely Sturdy Little Shed
So glad we decided to purchase this shed despite the negative reviews. All parts were present and the instructions were clear, with plenty of spare screws etc. Looks absolutely lovely in our garden and the double doors make it so easy to get in and out of. Surprisingly spacious too. Worth the wait for delivery.

It measured up just fine
Bought this over a month ago. All the parts were there, instructions were legible. Recommends two persons assemble but can be done solo with an impact driver and clamps. Can complain. Would buy again. I always struggle with door and hinges but this was a perfect alignment. All reason for not full stars is the base could be stronger. I ended up using some spare laminate to spread weight distribution. Minor concern.

I am more than happy with the shed and it was easy to erect only problem was that I had to buy a couple of pieces of trim that was missing, And the protection wood/bracket would have been easier to remove it had been screwed rather than nailed on. However, I did not contact anyone about the missing bits and I’m sure that they would have been sent to me had I contacted the company.

You get what you pay for
Arrived quickly and easy to move individual pieces before construction. Easy to build (slightly more challenging alone).
Shed itself is good enough, especially for the price. Main issue is the doors not being accurately measured and not fitting well, as panels are at different heights. I also question the design of the panels which cover the join between the doors. But have adapted to make water-tight.
Time will tell on how it deals with bad weather and how long it lasts.

Good value
Took a long time to build this, needs about 3 or 4 people to help. Very sturdy but the only issue is the door, the lock is not ideal and doesn't close. Would be better if the door came with two more hinges since it is not as secure without.

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets

How To Return A Product
If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method:
1. Request a Collection via Robert Dyas Customer Services
Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Warranty Mercia Garden Products offer a conditional 10-year anti rot warranty. To comply with the warranty, you must register your building, along with applying a high-quality wood preservative and high-quality wood topcoat paint once the building has been assembled. A high-quality wood topcoat paint must be applied annually thereafter to protect against water ingress and weathering.
