Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fab Summer House Exactly what it says on the tin, lovely summer house and it was really easy to build.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cracker particularly for price Decent little summer house. Ensure on level ground. We uprated the underside of base with some additional timbers. We also used clear sealant on all joins plus round windows. Held roof felt in place with clout nails plus felt adhesive on all the overlaps. Took 2 competent adults 8 hours to build. Recommended if your handy with a set of tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely Summerhouse Lovely Summerhouse is a bit tricky to build but Great once it’s up. Wood on doors was a bit rough so needed to dress them before painting. Looks great now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 9x9 mercia summerhouse We bought this a month ago, despite some good and bad reviews we decided to take the chance, happy we did, delivery was organised and on expected time with no problems, summer house was cheaper than others so did expect a little work to go into putting it together.. The quality not pahaps as good as dearer ones but it is basically a shed with windows. That been said it took about half a day to assemble (with some DIY knowledge) and now looks great. We also added the a small storage bit on the left side of summerhouse. Just remember you only ever really see the bad reviews, we are pleased with our purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! Absolutely thrilled with my (gin) shed. We have added a few extra batons to base and inside roof to make it extra sturdy which I would recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonably happy for the price Have just finished putting this together. Goes together quite easily but instructions leave a lot to be desired. Could be much clearer with better quality diagrams. But if you take your time and really study the instructions from time to time you shouldn’t go too far wrong. Some of the wood pieces had some damage on arrival, but expected some blemishes. Doors will need some attention to get them to open and close properly, but again expected this to be the case. But having got past all that it looks great in the garden. Can’t wait to get it furnished and spend some time in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Although it was a little tricky to erect, we got there in the end (the video provided in the item details was very helpful, in addition to the written instructions) and overall I am pleased with the product and it looks perfect in the garden. Having read previous reviews I was a bit concerned about the quality but we seem to have got lucky and received wooden components without defects, large knots etc. I think for the price paid, this is a good value product and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Premium 7ft x 7ft Very pleased with the summerhouse. It was quite difficult to erect, specifically connecting the front door to the 2 side glass panels. The angle was very difficult to get the screw in. However, once the facing went on, it looked great. I also had some issues with putting the roof on and ended up doing a slight workaround to make it fit better. But now that it’s built and painted - it is absolutely excellent. The quality is good too. I would recommend buying the summerhouse buy get a professional to build it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 8x8 Corner Summer House Arrived on time and driver transported the summer house panels to my drive - no problems. Build quality was very good. Panels were straight and very well made. Only one fascia board was slightly warped. Instructions good of been better and I had to scratch my head a couple of times during construction phase! If the instructions were clearer and in a sensible booklet format (rather than random loose leaflet) I would have given 5 stars. Nonetheless took me best part of two days to put it up (mostly myself with help from teenage kids) and it does look fabulous - so very happy with product overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice summer house- few faults! Mostly happy with this summer house Bad points- rusty door handles, top panels don’t connect inline, some splits in wood

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality summerhouse I bought this summerhouse after looking at lots of reviews and doing lots of research . It didn’t disappoint . It was high quality in the main . I say in the main I found the doors not quite as good a quality as the rest of the building . They weren’t as well finished off and a bit more flimsy than the rest. They aren’t as a good fit either . Still good .the worst thing about the summerhouse is that the instructions aren’t as detailed as I think they should be . Also it says two people can put it up , well there was four of us and it was still a struggle especially with the roof . If the parts were numbered it would be so much easier. I also had to go out and buy a couple more pieces of extra trim for the inside of the door frame where it meets the sides as no trim was included for the inside join only the outside and the screws could be seen . these are just the things I think could be improved . Overall I am really pleased with it . now it’s up I love it .it fees sturdy and robust .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very attractive summerhouse my wife and i are delighted with this summerhouse and the amount of sheltered space it provides. the assembly instructions were straight forward and the main body with floor and roof took about one and a half hours with two of us working together. The assembly fit the prepared flagged base perfectly and the whole assembly took about 4 hours. some minor adjustments were necessary owing to the nature of the material but nothing major.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good This summer house is not worth the asking price. The manufacturing is very poor indeed. panels do not line up nice and tight, also, a number of the ship lap boards are not cut straight down the edges. Some of the edgings for the roof were severely bent (meaning they do not function as intended) The rain guards that go above the windows...well...instead of straight, one of them looked like a banana. The fascias which go around the roof, they were not long enough. Now I have a big gap where the boards do not meet up. On top of that, the screws are cheap and they will break. Also, you will find that the manufacturers have misfired nails in wrong places, you will see them sticking out of places they shouldn't be. Oh, and when your summer house arrives, you will find protective blocks on the bottoms of the panels, this must be some kind of joke. Those blocks have been fired on so tight with a nail gun that you have to damage your panel pulling them off. If you are prepared to do a lot of extra work on this summer house, and buy extra materials, if you are happy with gaps and wonky edges, this summer house is for you! But if you want a well manufactured stress free summer house, don't buy this one. I have managed to put the building together, but I struggled, and I need to purchase extra materials for repairs. I would give 2.5 star rating for this but unfortunately its not possible. S I give 3 star.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Was Expecting More For the Price Point We opted for the premium version of this shed, which included tongue and groove floor and roof to maximise its life. Delivery was very fast, arrived within our allotted time slot. Most of the panels were in good condition - We had to contact the supplier regarding two panels, who did offer to replace them but not for a considerable amount of time. Instead, we begrudgingly opted for compensation which amounted to peanuts given the time, effort and extra materials we had to buy. Build quality wise, id be lying if I said I was impressed. For the money, we were expecting well put together panels, but instead its clear these are made quickly without much consideration to craftmanship. Some of the cladding for the floor and sides had split where the nail had gone through. Many of the framing batons were stood proud, preventing the panels from butting up flush. The framing for the windows wasn’t square. The nails holding some of the cladding to the framing had come out the side of the framing, as they weren’t lined up properly. Many of the trim pieces were warped. The most frustrating aspect of the shed, however, is how the door panel is secured to the two window panels. As the door is at a 45 degree angle, the outer framing does not butt up. It would have been nice if two pieces of timber cut at the correct angles were supplied, to properly fill the gap. I’ve attached a diagram below to better explain what I mean. The trim does cover the cap, but is defo not a weatherproof seal. The instructions weren’t overly clear, buy providing you have an ounce of common sense its not overly difficult to put together. Some of the screws provided were not fit for purpose, although they do give you plent of extras. This is the first shed I’ve bought, so I can’t comment on how the quality compares to other brands. I’d be inclined to look elsewhere before buying again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Design, poor materials Please with the design of the summerhouse but the materials were very poor standard, several split pieces of wood and the doors don't fit and still adapting them in order they shut.
Date published: 2022-03-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor Quality in places We found it very difficult to put the front panel to the side panels as the angle they align up at does not allow you to put the screws through into each other. The wood had many splits and knot holes and was of poor quality. The build quality was very poor with nails being shot in and missing their intended piece of wood making this dangerous when finally built as sharp nails were protruding into the summerhouse. The instructions were poor and seemed to be a generic set for sheds and not type specific . The video was useful in places but was for a bigger summerhouse which seems easier to build. After a lot of fettling and alterations by myself we now have it built and treated it and it seems ok. This is not for the average DIY person as some building skills are needed to rectify the manufacturers faults and erect the summerhouse. Overall it was cheaper than other summerhouses but this shows in the poor quality materials that they use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional summer house We purchased this for my father and whilst it is functional I was surprised we had to cut some of the facia boards as they should just be standard sizes, also you have to treat the wood after building it, the quality of the wood is not fantastic but he is very happy with it and he spends hours relaxing in there

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Corner Summerhouse 7x7 Delivered 10th March on a blustery day and initially all the numerous pieces where leant against my house wall. First impressions where that I'd paid quite a lot of money for a randon collection of panels and was faced with the daunting prospect of trying to assemble it with just my wife to help. I couldn't help wonder what the basic or standard Summerhouse was like if this was the Premium model. The front frame and doors looked like a Friday afternoon job. Generally, there were nails that had missed their beams and panels with knots which should have been rejected. It took me most of the morning to measure each piece of wood against the checklist and to see where each piece fitted on the finished house. I assembled the doors as carefully as I could and the front door unit looked amateurish - poor quality wood and casual spraying of the preservative. I am quite handy and have all the tools needed but it took days to assemble. The instructions were quite good but vague in places and they omitted important detail here and there that slowed the process. The most difficult part of the construction in my view was (Step1) the fixing of the front door panel to the window panel. The screw alignment is very difficult and not possible without an amount of skill and perseverance. The roof fitting and alignment is not for the faint hearted either. Eventually, we got the job done and I've coated it with a quality wood preservative and I must say it looks great now. Don't think it's worth the money however. DON'T ATTEMPT TO ASSEMBLE THIS SUMMERHOUSE UNLESS YOUR FIT, ABLE AND HAVE ALL TOOLS NECESSARY.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its OK. Read the reviews below before we brought, thought they may be exaggerating a bit about build quality - they weren't. Each panel is warped, not apparent on delivery and only discovered as we were building it. But that is the nature of wood. We did as best as we could with lots of extra screws and a few extra bought pieces of timber and now it's fine. For occasional use it is perfect. However, I have picked up some cheap laminate flooring for it, as the floor is not very attractive and I intend to use it as an office. Delivery was fine but can only deliver to kerbside. I'm glad we got it for a discount as I wouldn't be happy paying full price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It’s called premium - but it’s poor quality Had this delivered today, instructions are poor…wood is cheap, lots of holes and one side has faulty nails that was delivered with double nails sticking out. Also a crack in the plastic window. Delivery was on time and well informed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very very poor. All cut wrong. Still in dispute with company. Panels all cut wrong and way out when out together. Floor doesn’t fit together large gaps. Doors don’t shut flush as roof and panel cut wrong. Gaps all over. Response from this company to dismantle house and pack it up for refund. Like anyone would do that after paying someone to put it up as hove on my own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy is an understatement disgusted I got this for my wife to use as an art studio in the garden, it was very expensive for the quality.walls bend and are thin cut wood certainly not a plank of wood like I have seen although to be fair I’m sure one side might have been a plank at one stage but was cut to make a whole side. It was not even cut right and did not butt together very well at all. The door panel wall had no nails in it at all down the door side. The roof does not fit at all and had to be completely rebuilt during the build. I felt sad at spending such a big amount and received such a very very poor quality item. So my advice Save your money don’t buy this product from any supplier it’s the product not the many suppliers that are at fault.
Date published: 2022-03-12
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money Not worth the money we paid for this item none of the panels lined up very well with one of the end panels overlapping a considerable amount with lots of gaps around it The roof looks as though it’s all over the place from the outside. Lots of metal strengthening straps to make it secure. Had to purchase new screws as the ones it came with kept snapping Unfortunately we decided to paint it before assembly as it looked ok but flimsy otherwise would have sent it back Very disappointed
Date published: 2022-02-26
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not waste your money! The summerhouse is very poorly made and very difficult to erect as the materials dulled are cheap and nasty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No show Can Robert Dyas contact me ASAP. I ordered my summer house a month ago and was told I would receive it on the 30th March. This did not turn up!! I booked a day off work, paid to have the foundations laid and for someone to build it. I am absolutely disgusted after ringing the manufacturer of the summer house to be told Robert Dyas cancelled my order and forgot to tell me. The summer house is now out of stock until next year!! You still have my money and I want compensation for the costs incurred, and an equivalent summer house sourced ASAP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made This is made from inferior timber full of holes and knots. The bearers are only 30mm square and the whole unit moves and bends when leant on and needed extra strengthening. One of the bearers broke in half as I took it out of the polishing to to a large knot in the middle of it. It has been nailed together and some of the nails missed the bearers completely The doors do not fit and are a full 25mm too short leaving a large gap at either the top or the bottom depending how you fit them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunately extremely poor quality I bought this building last summer and have been trying to resolve the poor quality issues with it since - we got the side shed too. Please don’t waste your money. Broken posts, doors had to be planed to close, the key was too big for the lock, rusty handles, etc etc unless you have a qualified carpenter to make good the product don’t bother.
